Stay at Golden Tulip
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel with a large group of family members. The service was impeccable and food was awesome. The breakfast buffet was decent. Will definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Carolina.

Stay at Golden Tulip - Candolim
Pros:

The place is quite and good service .
Hotel is under renovation and expansion so one has to adjust to the inconvenience.
Close to the Candolim beach . 10 minutes walk .
Good food , healthy and fresh .

Pros:

I have stayed here before and it was excellent however on this occasion it wasn't great. Hotel has significant construction happening on site resulting in noise from 8am, pool area being limited with construction fencing around the edge and no sun loungers.

Hotel staff not very helpful and general manager wasn't interested in our concerns on the lack of awareness of this construction prior to booking, he informed me "We need the sales". The food standards had slipped but pricing of things was good value.

The rooms are clean and styled nice, lack of sound proofing was also an issue due to the noise.

Pros:

Leuk hotel in renovatie. Personeel probeert om vriendelijk te zijn. Management is waardeloos. Probeer voordat je een boeking maakt, de voorwaarden goed door te nemen. Het is eenrichtingsverkeer. Bij een foute boeking ben je geld totaal kwijt, er wordt niet gecorrigeerd/gewijzigd. Geen excuus.

Nice hotel, not fancy but clean and comfy.
Pros:

Location is very good, a short walk takes you to Candolim main street where all the commerce and restaurants are. From there, another short walk takes you to the beach. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool area is comfortable to sit and refresh but the pool was not clean during my stay. The restaurant serves a breakfast where you get both local and western food which was highly appreciated.

Nice hotel with very helpful staff
Pros:

Rooms were good & spacious. Bathroom was good, linen were clean. Staff was friendly & helpful specially tapan at the swimming pool was very cooperating & cheerful. Overall a very pleasing expedience.

We reserved two double bed, when we got there, they were out of double bed and provided a king bed. Many of the employees don't even talk english. Hotel will not provide or call for taxi service. Breakfast was good.

Run down and grubby
Pros:

Female receptionist very unhelpful. Didn't get the Imperial room with garden view was told didn't have the facility. Everything about this hotel was dirty and rundown. The pool was a definite no no and so were the sunbeds. The garden consisted of some plastic grass on top of some concrete construction accessed by a rusty metal steps.The garden furniture was falling apart and totally unusable. Room was dirty and the sofabed was stinking and I wouldn't put my dog on it!! Would not recommend this hotel and at a loss to understand how it achieved a 4 star plus rating and a trip adviser award!!
