Wonderful place to stay. Will look for Candlewood, if it’s close to another job
Pros:

I enjoy the homey feel to suites. It was also within walking distance to Culver’s.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind. I’m usually staying due to work related trips. So I don’t get a lot of time to inspect, just there to sleep.

The staff was very sincere, patient and polite while we had our great nieces service. Rooms were above the expectation.

Pros:

Chris I met when I first walked in to get my room. Super personal, answered everything quickly, deals with issues very quick. Other employees at front desk are friendly but won't answer things at the moment. Candlewood Suites has a great dude in Chris and is lucky to have him!!!

Clean rooms but Nothing special
Pros:

I say in a lot of hotels. There were definitely some good things about this place. The pillows were great. The room was clean. It’s nice having a full size fridge, the air conditioning worked really well and the complementary coffee was decent. My room was facing the storage units next-door, so it was very quiet.

There are a lot of things that are just so so about this place. The room is incredibly small. It’s missing some basic amenities like breakfast, pool and spa, no USB plugs in the rooms which is pretty standard in 2025. You also can’t log into any streaming devices on the TV, smart TVs are pretty standard in most hotel rooms now the little pantry downstairs didn’t really have anything after she told me that they didn’t have much. They have a little patio and grill area outback, but the tables were disgusting and covered in barbecue sauce.

Pros:

I’ll start with the positives: I checked in very late and the staff was welcoming and quick. Bed and pillows were also comfortable.

With this being said, the property needs a lot of work. My room was 2 queens. I also believe it was ADA accessible. The bathroom needed the most work. Multiple tiles were literally loose when you stepped across the floor. Grout was broken all over and looked dirty because of it. Chair in room was ripped on back. The refrigerator made an awful noise that woke me up in the morning. The cupboard under the bathroom sink (which is where I discovered the hidden trash) smelled funny.

The convenience of the location and suite aspect could be great if this property was given a remodel.

Comfortable and clean
Pros:

It was a comfortable place to stay, with only one complaint. Apparently we got an updated room with a large new TV, however the TV was not connected to satellite so unusable. The wifi in the room was great, liked that we did not have to reconnect each day. Nice kitchen area and plenty of desk space. Friendly desk agents. Pet friendly.
