Pros:

We really really loved our stay at Montra Nivesha Angkor. From the beautiful room and swimming pool, to the extremely friendly and attentive staff, to the amazing massage parlour en restaurant on site, everything in this hotel is perfect. It is in a beautiful and peaceful location close to the temples and a quick tuk tuk away from the busy city centre. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Hotel in tranquil setting.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with a great swimming pool, long enough to do some lengths swimming in the morning.

Pros:

The property is absolutely beautiful throughout. I especially enjoyed the small swimming pool next to the restaurant due to it's fresh water and clear depth, the elephant fountains and the floral trees surrounding the pool made for a relaxing atmosphere.

Cons:

The mattress in my room was too soft and did not support my back. It was a "pillow-top" mattress. These type of mattresses also hold heat, which is not a good idea in a hot and humid area of the world. I did not sleep well at this property.

Pros:

Bel hôtel avec belle et grande piscine intérieure, chambre spacieuse et lumineuse, calme et bien insonorisée, avec très grand lit confortable, bons oreillers, belle décoration, douche très agréable, petit balcon cosy avec ventilateur, bonne climatisation, fruits offerts à l’arrivée, staff super, très bonne expérience de massage au SPA, bon petit déjeuner, happy hour au bar avec bons cocktails. Globalement prix un peu cher mais bon rapport qualité prix.

Cons:

Un peu loin du centre-ville mais accessible facilement à pieds en 20mn ou en tuk tuk.

An alternative to big company resorts, and with all the facilities
Pros:

It was an amazing place in which to stay. It was full of character and had terrific facilities …. Kitchen (with room service) and a large swimming pool. It was kind of tropical with all the trees and plants … and the rooms, with a useable balcony, are large and very comfortable. If you are looking for a place that is not the usual sterile, predictable resort, this could be right up your alley. The staff were very welcoming and obliging. The decor reflects Cambodian art and character, even a large gold coloured elephant heat to provide water to the wash basin. It’s different and very comfortable. It would be a great place to stay for a relaxed week-long holiday….. doing nothing but relax.

Cons:

Nothing … it was a very pleasant surprise.

An extremely comfortable and gracious boutique hotel with impeccable staff service.
Pros:

This is a small hotel which oozes old world charm and comfort. The generous sized rooms are arranged around the central pool, surrounded by attractive, generous planting which gives the whole place a calm and gracious atmosphere. The rooms are attractively furnished with art works and beautiful traditional objects such as lacquer ware, pottery and wooden carvings. The staff service is impeccable - always extremely polite, helpful and friendly.

The hotel is located just off the road towards Angkor Wat and so is very conveniently located for sightseeing. We hired bikes and rode to the temple sites each day. The centre of town is quite hectic, so we were pleased to be a little further out - and it is easily reached with a short tuk tuk ride.

Cons:

My only suggestion here is that the breakfast could be a little more varied - but then I'm not someone who likes a cooked breakfast, so the alternative options are a little limited. But this is the only small thing I can think of to say in response to this question.

Pros:

Verybbuce boutique hotel in good location. Friendly staff. Good restaurant on premises.

Cons:

Hot water in the showers was an issue but no more than other developing countries. Staff’s English was a bit of a challenge.
