Very unprofessional staff
Cons:

Management accusing I stole a pair of thongs that were supposed to be missing from the room
I had no idea they were even in the room or showing on an inventory
They charged 100vnd

Very unacceptable behaviour after spending 4 nights there

Pros:

Good value for money, the front of house staff (Vincent on arrival and during, and Tracy on departure) made me feel at home and made the stay special (ie the difference).

The hotel was the beat thing about Hanoi

The staff were friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast buffet was tasty. Specially the hotel receptionist was incredibly friendly and professional, he would recommend us places to eat, sightseeing locations, train street schedule and booked a day tour outside Hanoi. Excellent!
Pros:

This was a standout accomodation during our trip. The room was clean, and well appointed — it smelt clean and fresh, no dampness! The staff were wonderful - friendly, helpful and accommodating. I had an early morning flight and they arranged a breakfast box for me, which was most appreciated. Breakfast was buffet, with a range of options, including made to order eggs. It was surprisingly quiet for being in the old quarter, and easy walking distance to main attractions, and good restaurants etc. I'd happily stay here again!

Well located and great value for money
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location in the Old Quarter. We could walk everywhere from there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very nice. We thought it was great value for money.

Cons:

Shower leaked a little bit but wasn't too much of a problem.

Good hotel, perfect location, old but comfortable
Pros:

The location is excellent, with many things nearby such as shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Comfortable room but nothing luxurious, it's fine for sleeping.

Cons:

The breakfast is very, very, very poor; it has almost nothing. The hotel is very old.
