The breakfast room is airy and modern and has a beautiful view . The breakfast options included local cuisine which was delicious. Mr. Yunis at the breakfast room was a delight, hospitable and ensured guests were happy.
The hotel location -it's beside a busy main road and there is just a narrow pavement that's not appealing for pedestrians to navigate to get to the main walking streets of Galata Tower and Taksim. Also the lobby and rooms are very dated including the furniture and in need of a urgent renovation.

Locația foarte bună, aproape de centru, turnul Galata și Bosfor. Camerele frumoase și curate. Centrul spa foarte bun și gratuit. Micul dejun foarte bun variat și priveliștea de extraordinară asupra Bosforului. Felicitări domnului Cüneyt care ne-a facut sejurul mai frumos, comportându-se exemplar. Ne-a ajutat cu tot ce am avut nevoie. La fel si domnul Eran de la receptie. Nu în ultimul rand, având o aniversare, au trimis un mini tort în cameră. Mulțumim!
Singurul minus pe durata sejurului a fost faptul ca nu am putut folosi piscina, desi era apa în ea, iar la jacuzii functionau doar doua dintre jett-uri.

- no coffee machine in the room. For a 5 star hotel (charging high prices for Istanbul) a coffee machine (the most basic of nespresso ones or unbranded ones or similar) is the norm anywhere in Europe now. Cheap nespresso sachets was so disappointing. If id realised there wasn’t a coffee machine, id genuinely have booked somewhere else, but didnt check as its just a basic thing for a high end hotel
- poor water pressure in the shower
- EXORBITANT minibar prices. I don’t mind paying a few euros premium for the convenience of a minibar but the prices of the items are INSANE. It’s £20 for a 50ml miniature of spirits!!! I get charging a minibar premium, but charging a London/New York high end cocktail bar price for a minibar drink in Istanbul is not only insanity, it also completely lacks class for a 5* hotel and makes it just look like a money grab (feels a bit Ryanair-like)
This was my third stay at Radisson Hotel Istanbul Pera during my third visit to Istanbul and once again it did not disappoint. It has definitely become my go-to hotel whenever I’m in the city.
The location is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained and the views over Istanbul are absolutely beautiful. It’s a great base for exploring the city, with so much within easy reach.
What really made this stay exceptional, however, was the service. On my way from the airport to the hotel, I accidentally left my sunglasses in the Uber/taxi. I thought there was very little chance of getting them back, but the reception team went above and beyond to help me. They managed to track down the taxi’s license plate, contact the right people and somehow work their magic — within a day, my sunglasses were back with me!
A very special thank you and shout-out to Cuneyt and Eren from the reception for their incredible help, kindness and genuine willingness to go the extra mile. This is exactly the kind of personal service that makes you remember a hotel and want to come back.

The price of a wine glass for a regular chardonay at the bar is ridiculously expensive. I have no idea how they can even justify this price.
