Well appointed City stay
Pros:

Charming, attentive staff

Cons:

Long trek to breakfast from the townhouse.
Breakfast service chaotic, no cutlery, or salt & pepper laid on either morning. Area very overcrowded.
Bar area seating rather uncomfortable
Room lighting switches very confusing
Odd noise all night in room (air con unit on roof perhaps but room air con didn't work)
We had to request a replacement toilet roll on the second morning. Not good.

Alojamiento agradable y bien ubicado.
Pros:

Amabilidad del personal.
Limpieza adecuada
Ubicación estupenda

Cons:

Mantenimiento de las habitaciones.( climatización antigua y ruidosa)
La zona de desayunos intentaba ser agradable, pero era muy estrecha y las mesas estaban muy juntas.

Great location
Pros:

Great location for the Barbican as only 3 minutes walk. Great, attentive staff. Fantastic breakfast. Comfy bedding. Liked the pub, which was cosy and high quality.

Cons:

The aircon didnt work in our room and it was very hot, so they moved us to another room which was cooler but still no aircon! The bed was small, I'd say no more than a double and very soft and lumpy but the bedding was good quality goose down. The hotel was a bit tired and I wouldnt rate it as 5 star.

Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, mega leckeres Frühstück, bequeme Betten, ein cooles Ambiente in der alten Brauerei und eine gute Lage zu verschiedenen U-Bahn Stationen.

Das Bad war leider nicht ganz ordentlich geputzt als wir eingezogen sind.

“Great quiet location and friendly staff, but disappointing crib quality for families with babies.”
Pros:

The room was large and comfortable, with a very comfy bed. The hotel is in a business area, which made it nice and quiet during my stay. The location was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good as well.

Cons:

The room itself did feel a little dated and not what I would expect from a five-star hotel, although to be fair, we also did not pay five-star prices, so it felt relative to the rate we got.

The main disappointment was the quality of the crib provided for my baby. It was very uncomfortable, and my baby slept badly and woke up many times during the night, which unfortunately affected our trip. I do think providing a more comfortable crib would make a big difference for families staying at the hotel, and it does not seem like something that would cost very much to improve.
