Blue Ball Inn

The place has a new manager from the day we arrived so not had any chance to improve things yet. The staff were friendly and good at their jobs. Could be a fab place. Just needs an update especially the rooms. Very tired.

The hotel is a very old coaching inn, full of character, and very well maintained. It is well situated for both Sidmouth and the Donkey Sanctuary. The room had a lovely bed, in a fair sized room. The en-suite was very nicely appointed. Our room was facing the road so there was some traffic noise. The food was excellent and the staff were all really attentive and provided a great service. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Blue Ball Inn, Sidmouth.

Really nice Inn with good quality accommodation and easy parking. Food was great and staff friendly. Only thing that let it down for us was the constant hum of the ventilation system during the night.

It was a very pleasant stay comfortable and warm and very good food. I was allowed to have my dog with me at meal times in a designated area we were both happy

The location was great, the room comfortable but could have done with a proper clean. Breakfast was lovely. Staff needed a lot of training!! A issues not deal with properly

Lovely local Inn. Rustic and comfortable. Very helpful staff at check-in and at bar. Good bathroom, and shower. Bed was a bit tired but still comfortable. Rooms overlook major road, but traffic is light throughout the evening. Convenient free parking.

Lovely rooms. Nice pub and restaurant with extensive menu and real ales. Plenty of parking. 2 mile walk along the river sid to Sidmouth, which is nice and easy. Staff helpful.

Excellent place to stay. Lovely old pub, restaurant, inn. Amazing served menu breakfast. Very amicable and welcoming staff. Massive king size bed, everything very elegant and clean. Car park across the road.
