Disappointing stay with basic amenities and service falling well below expectations.
Pros:

The receptionists were polite and tried to help, although most solutions came from our side rather than being proactively offered. The breakfast was OK, the location convenient, and we appreciated having free parking available.

Cons:

We booked a room for 6 people (4 adults and 2 children), but upon arrival only two beds were prepared. The couch wasn’t set up and we were told it couldn’t be extended, with the suggestion that our young children could just sleep on it. Since we had clearly specified our group when booking, this was unexpected. Arriving at 8pm on a Saturday, we were told no extra beds or even linens were available. After about 30 minutes of asking, the receptionist managed to find some basic bedding (from other rooms), so we spent the first night sleeping on a very unclean (!) couch.

The next day, we did receive two extra beds, but they were very very worn out, foldable, and quite uncomfortable.

The breakfast itself was good, but even shortly after opening, many items were already missing. The staff member (lady with long dark hair) in the breakfast area was very disengaged and unwelcoming.

Additionally, the shower head fell off on the first evening, making it almost impossible to shower (see photos). We reported it immediately, but were told it could only be fixed on Monday (after our departure), and no alternative solution was offered.

Overall, the service and condition of the facilities did not meet expectations for a 4-star hotel - I would say it was closer to a 2-star experience.

Big cozy room
Pros:

I liked the size of the room and how comfortable is was.
Fun fact: our room was facing the Constantin Jude indoor arena (the former Olimpia Hall from the comunist era) and I was trying to read what was written on its wall.

Cons:

The window which was not centered, but I know you cannot change its position. :-)
