No aircon. Limited parking. My room was directly above the bar which played music all afternoon (although did stop at 9pm) which was very noisy (especially as I had to have the windows open due to no aircon)

Awesome place to stay for a short visit.
Pros:

Location is great just opposite the lake and 10 minutes walk to the town centre. My motorcycle was given an optimum parking space. The in-house restaurant has a variety on the menu and the food was great.

Place was pleasant enough for a one night stay
Pros:

Handy and it was comfortable and clean staff were lovely

Cons:

Venetian blinds need changing as they didn’t close properly and when dark you could see lights shining from outside roller blinds might be better also no chairs or couch to sit on you had to sit on bed to watch tv

Room was okay but could do with some upgrades.
Pros:

Great location, with pool and spa.

Cons:

No air con, room was very warm and only a small plug in fan heater. Poor shower pressure, loud bathroom fan.

Great location and nice bed and swimming pool.
Pros:

The bed was good. It was nice and close to the main city centre, so the restaurants were nice and close. There was a pool as well as a bath in the room.

Cons:

There was no air conditioning, so the room was really hot. And the extractor fan in the bathroom was really noisy.

Great location - old school feeling.
Pros:

accommodation was close to the lake and had a swimming pool.

Cons:

The lay out of the room was a little different with the kitchenette in the bedroom with bunks.

The spa and pool was really enjoyable and nice.
Room was very cute and clean
Everyone was so lovely

Cons:

Unfortunately it was so hot and the room had no air-conditioning, the bed was very uncomfortable, (needs a mattress topper), and also a bit loud, could hear people walking around up stairs, water running etc.

En route to Wellington so needed to stay for a night. Taupo always good

Restaurant food. Drink, service and view were excellent. Motel location v good.

Cons:

Room size and bit pokey. Probably suitable for one person only.A bit like a cupboard, however shower was excellent.
