Great Taupo location
Pros:

We have stayed here often. It’s close to town and the log cabin type interiors are timeless.

Cons:

The rooms are small and decor a little tired so don’t expect 5 star experience, but if small rooms don’t worry you, this is a good option.

Cons:

Hard to converse with the front desk and late at night or early in the morning you have to walk all the way around to exit the building. There is a curfew

Fine - but only for a very short stay

The price and location were right - very basic

Cons:

We arrived after hours and most of the doors were locked and we had quite a walk to our room.

Hallway light shone under door.

No kitchenette - just a small fridge and kettle

Great location but really noisy.
Pros:

Lovely modern apartment

Cons:

Really really noisy. Disappointing as it's expensive for one night and we thought it'd be a quieter spot. It's located directly under a restaurant and people stomp overhead and run down the hallways till about midnight when we were there.

Ok. Accommodation ok for short overnight stay.
Pros:

The location, morning walk with a view.

Cons:

Difficulty finding a carpark. Not enough parking for guests. Room was noisy. Found bathroom was dirty - last guests hair in shower basin, toothpaste/soap scum in hand basin and black mould.

Clean, Comfortable, & cozy room, couldn't feel the 2deg temperatures outside. Ourcroom serviced each day. Friendly staff.

Very happy with the room and proximity to the lake was great. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. Great sized apartment. Very clean.

Cons:

The bunk beds were very squeaky. It's a little far to walk from the centre of town, but very easy drive and good for people that want to be a little bit away from the busiest areas.
