Foi a segunda vez que me hospedei no Hotel da Bahia. A primeira experiencia foi ótima mas dessa segunda vez deixou a desejar. Alguns pontos que me incomodaram muito: cheiro de esgoto no quarto que vinha do ralo do banheiro, travesseiros com cheiro de mofo e sem lixeira no quarto. Decepcionante.

This was my first trip to Salvador in more than 10 years and the hotels where I had stayed before were no longer open. I stayed at the Wish hotel. The lobby is attractive but the rooms are very disappointing just drab and lack color and imagination. The room wasn't even equipped with an iron and ironing board but they did bring one when I requested it. Erik checked me in and was personable and so was Silas, the bellman, who met me at my car. The main restaurant wasn't anything to brag about. They have what looked to be a more upscale restaurant but it wasn't opened the two days that I stayed there even though the Front Desk staff had advised me as to what time it would be opened. When it wasn't open and I inquired, I was sent to the same restaurant where the breakfast buffet is served and they didn't even offer the menu of the more upscale restaurant. My room didn't even have a box of facial tissues which is pretty standard in hotels and no wash cloths only hand towels. The location happened to be convenient to the friends who I was visiting but I don't know if I would stay here again.
