old charm in a perfect location
Pros:

the location was perfect. the restaurant next door was excellent food. . we had a room with a view of the lake

We had a wonderful stay!
Pros:

The location is excellent. We had a great view of the water and mountains and we were right by the ferry dock. The breakfast in the mornings was the best I’ve ever had. They had an arrangement of pastries, fruit, meat, cheeses and we also had the ability to order hot items like bacon, eggs and pancakes.

Exceeded Expectations - Beautiful
Pros:

Hotel Olivedo was an amazing choice. We loved the hostess and historic vibe of this property. The balcony was amazing. Very convenient to train station and ferry. Very clean with a daily maid service. Breakfast was well appointed with a cappuccino and selection of pastries, proteins, and fruits. We completely loved our stay here and look forward to returning one day.

The ferry is so convenient that you get to people watch as they stand in line.

Pros:

Very comfy room in the annex Bed and shower are perfect.
Considering it poured and was cold, we managed to enjoy the wonderful restaurant on the property, see most of picturesque Varenna, and get to Bellagio as the location was near to the ferry.
The staff were courteous and kind. Offering help before we requested.
