My husband and I spent 5 nights at Hotel La Tamise and highly recommend it if you prefer the intimate boutique hotel experience in a vibrant, central and safe area of Paris. There are so many positives. First, the staff is terrific! Saleh, Kevin, Camille and Antonio were always happy to advise or just chat. Second, the breakfast is delicious, and Saleh is a master host. Third, the property is extremely clean and well appointed. While the rooms are small, they are quiet and smartly designed with modern amenities and comfortable beds. The location allowed us to walk to all the major attractions and restaurants, yet the Metro is conveniently just a block away. We are so glad we chose this wonderful property and hope to return soon! Merci les amis!
We went with 2 other couples for 3 nights ostensibly for the rugby. We won’t talk about that. The whole experience was just wonderful. It is a small boutique hotel, with a small reception area and a separate bar breakfast area.
The moment we arrived we felt like we had arrived home. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would like to name them all. A particular mention to the gentleman who prepared breakfast each morning. He remembered what all 6 of us wanted and also the special orders.
The location is perfect and close to everything including a 3 minute walk to the metro. They can also organise airport transfers which we availed of.
I can’t wait to return to my Parisian home! Thank you.
Great location. Very nice room (basic one is small but standard for the area). Amazing mattress. Friendly smiley front desk.
We stayed 3 nights and if I could I would rate this hotel 10 stars. The location is unbeatable! The staff was unbelievably welcoming and courteous. The hotel itself is very small and quaint with only 19 guest rooms. We highly recommend eating breakfast here. Our host for breakfast was a true gentleman named Saleh. He made the experience so nice and inviting and the food was excellent. The concierge was also first class. I really can’t rate this establishment any higher. You will be very happy that you chose this very charming hotel. A+++
Incredible location. Walkable to many great sights (Louvre, Tuileries, Place Concorde, Vendome) not to mention great shopping on Rue St. Honore.
After researching numerous hotels, we picked Hotel La Tamise.
The concierge Kevin was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The location is perfectly situated to walk to most attractions. As an added bonus, the Tullerie Gardens across the street had just started the Christmas Market. The Market was magical. The ferris wheel made it easy to find the hotel after a long day of walking the city. Kevin and Antonio went above and beyond to make our stay effortless. They arranged transportation, shows and anything we needed to enjoy Paris. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Hotel La Tamise.

This beautiful hotel is perfectly located in the 1st arrondissement which means it is walking distance to so many must-do attractions. The staff is the best and couldn’t be more helpful, pleasant and fun!
Our room was well-appointed as well as the downstairs restaurant which offered a wonderful breakfast and champagne in the afternoon.
We are headed to Paris (for our 10th time in Paris) and of course will be staying at La Tamise. We can’t wait!
Small intimate hotel next to the Rue de Rivoli within easy walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame and fun shopping. Hotel is small, rooms small but well equipped and clean. Everything you need for a Paris stay. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Would stay in this hotel again!
The hotel was amazing, great location, spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are finished to a very high standard. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning!
Staff was excellent. Location can’t be better. Rooms are small but very cozy. Only complaint is shower needs to be cleaned better. Corners of tile look moldy. Other then that everything is crisp and clean
The highlight of this stay is the service. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. In particular, Kevin was able arrange a chauffeur last minute who was delightful to spend the day with. I highly highly recommend this hotel, especially if this is the first time to Paris. Everyone had the time to explain everything, and of course the location is very central.
Phenomenal hotel in a fantastic location with an incredible friendly staff. Hotel is across the street from the Tuileries Gardens and 2 minutes from the Tuileries Metro Station. Short walks to both the Louvre and Orsay Museums. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are very comfortable and rooms are extremely clean. Staff was always available and very friendly with any requests made to them. A very good breakfast was available every morning - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, pastries, juice. Would definitely stay there again if we ever get back to Paris.
Location
Très bien
From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which set the tone for a wonderful stay.
The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Paris, making it easy to explore the city while still feeling tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
When we arrived at the hotel early in the morning, we were delighted to find that our room was already prepared and ready for us, a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference after our early flight. Later that day, after returning from a long and tiring walk around Paris, we were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine along with some delicious treats waiting for us in the room. This thoughtful touch was deeply appreciated and made us feel truly cared for after a busy day of exploring the city.
The interior design is elegant and thoughtfully done, creating a refined yet comfortable atmosphere. Our room was spacious for central Paris, and had everything we needed to feel completely at home.
The hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and we are already looking forward to returning.
Lovely hotel. Walking distance to museums, shopping, etc. lovely assortment for continental breakfast.
If you are looking for an old school Parisian experience, this hotel is for you. The decor, while not stale, is old world Paris. It has Romeo and Juliet balconies with flower boxes and just has that feel that you are in Paris.
The rooms are very small. We had two connecting rooms for 4 people and were glad that we were only staying one night, as it was a tight squeeze. The location is great for going to the Louvre. The rooms were clean and had nice touches like travel books produced by the hotel group. One weird thing to note is both of the rooms had windows where you could see from the room into the bathroom, with only a sliding see-through shade to obstruct the view from the room into the bathroom. Third time we've seen this in a hotel and still don't understand the thinking behind a design like this.
Breakfast is served in a small room and the offerings were a disappointment, although the waiter was as nice as can be and eager to please. They offered some pastries and candies in this room all day.
All in all, the location was perfect for what we needed and the hotel is pleasant and probably appealing to many who are looking for that old Parisian vibe. While it is a nice hotel with good service and we were glad for the night in a vibe like this, we stayed in Paris a few days later for several days in a more modern hotel with much larger rooms and decided that was more our speed.
The location was spot on to bus and rail transportation.
Employees were very attentive to their guests. Excellent place. Clean and great location.
What a fabulous little hotel!
It is perfectly placed to explore Paris with plenty of bars/restaurants nearby.
Lovely little extra weee provided in the bedrooms such as a coffee machine, bottled water and full size body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
