We had terrible experience
The staff where so so rude and aggressive
The address of the hotel was written wring at booking.com to star with . Not only they did not say sorry but also where so rude and aggressive and said cancel if you are not happy.
Imagine with three luggages has to walk in the very busy district with lots of motorcycles.
When we arrived they had so much attitude that was so unpleasant . The room did not have window which was so dark and lack if air
I insisted to change my room
The girl shout at me and said you cancel and go
I said i go no where until i fond another hotel
Then tjey sent an aggressive man who shouted on me and my mother
Physically attacked us and kick me in my waste to leave the room
Me and my mum where so scared
Mum was shivering
We tried to not let him come in the lift with us
But he pushed us ti the lift and
This was extremely frightening that we where panicked
I asked the reception to call the police but they refused

Quite run down and dirty hotel. The room to my astonishment wasn’t as dirty as the hallways, floors, carpets, elevator so I suppose that makes it passable for a 1 night stay.

This hotel is located in an area that have many shops, cafes, convenient store, and small restaurants.

The lobby of the hotel looks nice but the interior of the room looks like a 2Star hotel.

It's a nice hotel to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

Facilities are very old. Water in bathroom and toilet are not flowing properly, caused stinky smell

Aircond was not working at 3am, exhaust fan also not running in the bathroom, the room has no window, so stuffy and could not sleep, call reception at 3am, no pick up, call again at 4:15am, still no one answer. It was my terrible experience during my trip in Hanoi.
Staff are not friendly in general. Never come back to Dragon Pearl Hotel again.

The room showed to me after my booking was very small.... I had to upgrade the room with city view cause we were 2 adult and child. Soo i saw that after booking online the room showed to me was compartively small... soo upgradation was only choice for me...

Terrible hotel in my business trip in Hanoi
The staffs don’t care when I check in with huge luggage
During 2 nights stay, I didn’t see any smile or take care customer
Besides, the breakfast is very cheap with noodles, vegetables, no soup or hot dishes

A basic stay with comfort. Remember there are no smoking rooms in this hotel.
Buffet breakfast is as usual.

English speaking service people as not much to be found. Keep the google translator handy.

Otherwise a good sleep and clean hotel iwth plus is its location.

Pro: Location is ok, have cafe nearby.
Con:
Needs better maintenance. They took two days to fix a leaky shower.
There is a electric kettle but no supply of instance coffee/tea

Great value for money if your looking for somewhere to stay in Hanoi on a budget. Rooms very clean although a little dated, but you can’t complain for the price you pay. Staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive. Laundry service was great, and very good value.

Just arrival, amazing clean room, all facilities in needed, so flexible and helpful staff both receptionist young lady and gentle bellman. Location also good.we will find out more interesting things around in next two days.

It s an amazing hotel. Nice receptionist, services are fine. I stayed in a quiet place but there were noise around because the door is not anti-noised one. Definitely will come back next time. Suitable for short stay

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Location is perfect and we even got upgraded to the Suite. Our room was quite spacious and clean. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. They even had vegetarian options in their breakfast. We had a very pleasant experience altogether.

The hotel rooms are larger and cleaner than other boutique hotels where I’ve stayed in old Hanoi. Quadruple room for 2 adults and 2 children. Excellent service. Good breakfast options. Reliable airport transfers.

Nice location in the boarder of the Old Quarters. Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds ja the room was nice. The breakfast was a fusion of Asian and English breakfast.

A friend and i stayed at this hotel for the last few days of our Vietnam trip, the staff is worth the stay. All were very friendly, professional, and helpful. Would stay again for this reason alone. Hotel is within 20 mins walking to lake kiem, shopping, botanical garden, water puppets, hoa lo prison, ho chi minh museum and other places of interest

Dragon Pearl Hotel is located in the heart of the Old Quarters, quite close and walking distance to shopping and site-seeing. I was very pleased with our room that was surprisingly spacious. The buffet breakfast is also impressive- catering to Western and Asian cuisine. Linh and Huong took care of our breakfast in our 6 day stay in the hotel. Ask Linh to cook you an awesome scrambled egg.
My favourite part in Dragon Pearl Hotel is very friendly and extremely helpful staff. I wish all hotels I stay in have staff like May and Linh in front desk reception. May especially is very special - very attentive and sensitive to our needs and comfort. She made sure that our needs and concerns were addressed. On our first day- Linh of front desk made sure someone helped us cross the street- those scooters can be intimidating.
I loved staying in Dragon Pearl Hotel especially because of those four girls- May and Linh of front desk and Linh and Huong of dining.

The hotel is reasonably priced with great old quarter location and first class rooms. The staff are so very helpful and friendly. Wether you want a tour in sa pa or plane tickets the staff will arrange it for you. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi.

The hotel is perfectly located close to everything you might want to see in Hanoi. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfy. The staff is lovely and helpful. We've stayed many times in Hanoi but this hotel became quickly our favorite.

I was as impressed by the attentiveness and kindness of the staff as I was by the cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere in each of the two rooms I stayed in. I was also impressed that this quality of service might be expected in far more expensive hotels but is highly unusual for a hotel in this price range. This was as true at the front desk as it was in the kitchen.

May, Linh and Jason at the front and Linh, in the dining area were all genuinely interested in seeing that I was comfortable even as Linh, in the dining area, was also attentive and thoughtful to me and my guest, as well. Thank you all for making my stay so incredibly pleasant.
