A bit disappointing
Pros:

The room, we booked the Atic room, was a room with character. The restaurants view was to die for, overlooking Lake Como and the town. The lady in the reception was very helpful.

Cons:

I don’t like giving bad reviews but this is really needed. We booked the Attic room and with the heat outside it was unbearable to try to sleep. There is no AC in the room, perhaps it was stated somewhere when we booked, but I did not see it. I cannot understand why the hotel does not invest in AC.
Further more, we were in a hurry to catch a train in the morning and the breakfast was to start from 08:00. So we were sitting at the breakfast at 08 to try to get something quick to eat, but they did not prepare the breakfast for 08, I believe we could start eating around 08:10-08:15.

*Die Zimmer sind alt und ohne Klimaanlage, was bei 35 Grad Aussentemperatur sehr schlecht ist
*Frühstück war wenig: Mengen & Auswahl/ Personal musste gesucht werden, war nicht proaktiv
*Restaurant lecker aber sehr teuer für Italien (Portionen klein) und extrem langsam, selbst für Italien. Man muss min 2.5 St für einen Abendessen rechnen

Beautiful View
Pros:

The view from my room was beautiful, and that is one of the big advantages of this hotel. The decor is nice because they replicate the old style while adding new touches, for example, the modern shower. The breakfast is good to start the day in a good way, to explore the rest of Lake Como

Cons:

Maybe the parking situation, but when i was there, they had an issue with the street, which I suppose will be gone when it's done. The employers are amazing and always try to find a solution

Site extraordinaire ! Et un Hotel 1900 et - oh bonheur- avec salle de bain moderne !
Cuisine dîner et petit déjeuner impeccable. Service adorable.
Un petit effort pour mieux afficher le chemin d'accès serait bien.
Malgré le souci du respect du style d'origine, même dans un lit ancien, un matelas moderne, peut-être ?

Pros:

Das Hotel hat nur 8 Zimmer. Unser Zimmer war toll. Beste Aussicht. Das Abendessen war "in Ordnung". Schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Weinen.

Cons:

Teigwaren mit Trüffel/Trüffelöl viel zu trocken. Tiramisu staubig statt saftig. Beim Frühstück drückte sich das Personal vor weiteren Kaffeewünschen. Sonst war das Frühstück OK.

De locatie, de zeer mooie ligging boven het Comomeer en de nabijheid van de funeculare.

Pros:

Die Lage ist der Wahnsinn. Weit über den Dächern von Como hat man einen tollen Blick auf den See und kann bei gutem Wetter bis Mailand schauen.
Das Hotel hat absolut Charme und ist wirklich was besonderes. Es ist schon älter, aber gut erhalten und sauber.
Das Bett ist riesig und auch das Schlafsofa für die Kinder war top.
Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll hergerichtet, ist aber nicht üppig. Auch wurden aufgebrauchte Lebensmittel schleppend nachgelegt.
