Nice and summer (if parking can be guaranteed), avoid in winter
Pros:

The Location might be nice in spring to autumn but in winter really not. We booked the place because it said it had a parking, it was blocked by roadworks. So if the parking works that might be a positive point. The view is exceptional. When there is no fog.

Cons:

It is a long long climb up into the mountains. Google gets lost once you arrive and the hotel is nearly impossible to find. We asked three locals for directions!! you cannot stop anywhere because the roads are so narrow and the parking is unreachable if you don’t know where it is. In winter I would avoid that place. The cable car is not working during winter season. Google claims it’s open but it is not. So once your uphill you are absolutely stuck. You can take a bus for half an hour but I don’t think that’s the idea if you want to take a cable cop from the top of the mountain to the valley. As there are no other restaurants around you’re also stuck with a hotel Restaurant. Our status were great and our main plates are disaster. Sorry I will never ever be back.

Pros:

Die Anfahrt ins Bergdorf ist mit teilweise enger Straße und Haarnadelkurven eine kleine Herausforderung. Dafür wird man mit einem herrlichen Blick von oben auf den See, die Stadt und die Berge belohnt. Das Hotel ist ein charmant hergerichtetes Haus mit gutem Restaurant und einem schönen Ambiente.

Yhteydenpito asiakkaaseen oli hyvä, meistä pidettiin huolta. Kiiva huone oerus varusteluilla. Hotellin ympäristössä oli paljon nähtävää. Aamun näkymät Como järvelle olivat henkeäsalpaavat ja kirkonkellot herättivät lempeästi uuteen päivään

Cons:

Hotellin sijainti kukkulan laella oli yllätys, eikä funikuluuri ollut käytössä. Kulkeminen hotelliin oli haastavaa. Aamiainen oli vaatimaton ja ravintolan aukioloajat suppeat

Pros:

Нереально красивый вид, который превзошел все ожидания. Прекрасный персонал , заселили раньше , ответили на все вопросы. На завтраках есть все необходимое .Ресторан стоит отдельного посещения, вкусная еда , фантастический вид. Обязательно вернемся еще!

Vista sul Lago di Como
Pros:

La vista è bellissima sia dalla camera che dal ristorante è bellissima, la nostra stanza era piccola ma molto carina e con un letto comodissimo. Colazione molto buona e personale gentile, c'è il parcheggio privato che è molto comodo ma prenotatelo in anticipo perché sono pochi posti.
P.s: la funicolare è da 2 passi da lì

Pros:

We liked the location. Beautiful view. Very easy to get to from the funicular.

Cons:

No air conditioning. Water in the shower was an issue. No water pressure. Our last day we had NO water, just a trickle.

Pros:

Petit hôtel de charme avec une vue magnifique sur le lac de Côme. Le restaurant est de très grande qualité (nous y avons pris nos deux dîners).

Cons:

L'accès en voiture à Brunate est un peu délicat (petite route de montagne)

Pros:

Det här är ett underbart unikt ställe, en guldpärla. Vi bodde högst upp i ett mycket charmigt inrett rum på vinden, på toppen ovanför Como. Middagen på restaurangen var ljuvlig och personalen mycket familjär och trevlig!
