A slice of paradise

I loved the stay, will come back some day
Pros:

I loved the stay, the suite was exceptional, loved the comfortable beds, the big bathroom and wardrobe, also the large balcony. The conditioning was adjustable. Very nice breakfast and extreamly welcoming staff.

Cons:

The food at the restaurant was average, but quite expensive. So it could have been better balanced.

It was nice once they got the water problem fixed.
Pros:

It was close to the beach, its own private beach, where sun beds and umbrellas were included with the room. The hotel also had free parking which was helpful. The bed was comfortable and the staff was incredibly nice. Breakfast buffet (included in my room rate) was good - not incredible - but good.

Cons:

When I arrived at about 15:00/3 PM, there was no running water in the hotel. No running water. They got the water problem fixed a little after 22:00/10 PM that night. At around 21:00 I asked the manager what time the issue started and he said, "This evening" which was an outright lie. After telling him there was no running water when I arrived, he offered to comp my room. The following morning before I checked out, I said 1/2 the rate was fine. Comping my room was generous but didn't seem entirely fair to the hotel/staff.

Schöne Strandlage, wie im Film

Schönes, klassisches Hotel mit Privatstrand, Pool und einer schönen Bar (abends). Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert und von hoher Qualität. Sehr freundliches Personal mit wenigen Ausnahmen.

Cons:

Wenn man spät zum Frühstück kommt, werden die Tische bereits für das Mittagessen eingedeckt. Der eine oder andere Mitarbeiter im Service strahlt dabei nicht unbedingt die Atmosphäre aus, die man beim Frühstück eigentlich haben möchte: Ruhe, Gelassenheit und Gemütlichkeit. Wenn neben einem lautstark das Geschirr klappert und jemand missgelaunt schaut und Hektik verbreitet, hat das mit einem schönen Start in den Tag eher wenig zu tun.

El hotel es precioso, las habitaciones cómodas e impecables, teníamos una vista hermosa hacia el mar, la atención del personal excelente, fueron muy amables y colaboradores en todo momento, en los restaurantes y el bar de playa del hotel se come riquísimo y se pueden tomar tragos muy buenos, el acceso y la ubicación inmejorable, está en una de las playas más hermosas del sur de Cerdeña, desde allí caminando por la playa puedes ir a otras dos que también son muy bonitas, la verdad pasamos días preciosos y los recomendamos 1000%!

We have just returned from a 14-night half-board holiday at the luxurious Hotel Simius Playa and had an absolutely lovely, relaxing holiday. The location is excellent, next to a beautiful private sandy beach.
The hotel was very charismatic and is the epitome of my perception of old Sardinian charm. It is very impressive and kept impeccably clean at all times.
Our suite was very nicely furnished with an excellent view of the sea from our balcony and was kept pristinely clean by housekeeping.
The quality and variation of food in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent and the à la carte menu in the evening was exceptional.
All of the hotel staff was excellent, very friendly, professional, helpful, cheerful and always with a smile on their faces.
We’d like to add a special huge thank you to all of the restaurant staff, especially Antonino, Enrico, Aimane and Simone for making our dining experience “perfetto”.
We met a number of guests, who have been returning to Hotel Simius Playa for over 20 years and can understand why. We will return.

Pros:

Jättefint rum med härlig utsikt från balkongen mysig lite trädgård med pool. Vänlig och serviceminded personal. Frukosten var utmärkt och intogs i trädgården. Enda minus är att det kostade mellan 20-40 euro att använda hotelllets solstolar på stranden, det hade kunnat bakats in i hotellets rumspriser.
