We had a wonderful time at this character filled hotel. Everything is in keeping with the architectural era. Rooms beautifully made up each day.
Central location. Staff were particularly helpful. Special thanks to Nathan who smoothed the way for us on several occasions. Snacks available during day was a nice touch. Breakfast would definitely add to the experience.

There is a cafe attached to the hotel too ,so if you don't stay at the hotel I would definitely recommend a visit to the cafe just to experience the quirkiness of it all .

Returned to this hotel after 40 years…..it’s a bit different now absolutely beautiful, the staff are wonderful big shout out to Tiw and Tong lads working behind the bar.

On on hotel is a must stay in a beautiful part of old town Phuket. It is worth every dollar. it is near all the nice shops, wonderful food and easy walking to temples and surrounding areas. This is a five out of five stay.

An incredible hotel in an unbeatable location in old town-Phuket.

Housed in a stunning 100-year-old, Portuguese-inspired building, it’s full of character and charm. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, making the experience even more special.

Without a doubt, this has been my favourite hotel stay so far.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The room was very comfortable with everything one needs available. The staff was friendly and helpful, anticipating needs before we could ask! The location is central to May restaurants and shops. Very historic and charming place. I highly recommend this hotel!

What an experience! Exceptional in every way. Staff, ambience, facilities, atmosphere, location and so rich in history and atmosphere. We loved it from arrival to departure.

My wife and I stayed from 25th to 29th December 2025, and every time we want to come to Phuket we will pick to stay at our preferred Hotel Memory On On because of few reasons, first, all staff are friendly, especially this person name Nathan.

Second, it is very convenient to many places like restaurants, bars and shopping.

The Hotel recently done their renovation and the rooms are getting brighter.

The hotel is very beautiful, good location, good decoration and the staffs are very nice and helpful especially Nathan.

Nice hotel in the middle of town. Nathan was a wonderful smiling face who made our stay pleasant. Nice antique furniture in lobby and some light snacks in the morning.

Stunning hotel, incredible relaxed atmosphere and the best staff. Nathan on the front desk was a dream, so helpful and friendly! Would absolutely recommend staying here. V comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room and lobby. Great location too!

Was not here for too long but as soon as I arrived I was made to feel welcomed, shown all the amenities and felt relaxed. The room was the perfect fit, great water pressure in the shower and you can never have too many pillows, my sleep was brilliant. Nathan and his colleagues were amazing and had us laughing/smiling even after checkout.

❌❌❌ Recommend to go somewhere else. Except for the excellent location i wouldnt stay at this hotel again. It is overly touristy and fake, staff is untrained and constantly confused. They do not reply to emails you send them and do not have a minimum of care to ensure smoothness of ur trip, it is more like a factory that only cares about making a profit.
There are so many better hotels around for better quality, price and service that i do not recommend this one. ❌❌❌

We chose The Memory at On On Hotel as the first stop of our Phuket vacation, excited to stay in such a historic and iconic place with my wife — especially one we had seen in The Beach. Unfortunately, our experience on 22 August 2025 was extremely disappointing.

After a 9-hour flight from Turkey, exhausted and sleep-deprived, we arrived at the hotel around 7 p.m., eager to check in and rest. However, the front desk staff told us they couldn’t find our reservation — even though we had booked and fully paid for our room days in advance via Agoda. They kept us waiting and blamed first Agoda, then a third-party system between Agoda and the hotel.

As a guest, I shouldn’t have to deal with internal issues between booking systems. I simply expected to be shown to my room, especially since I could clearly show confirmation emails, payment proof, and credit card records. Still, they refused to check us in, saying our booking was not in their system. They admitted there were empty rooms but said none were “cleaned,” so they could not accommodate us at all.

After waiting over 90 minutes, they made no real effort to help or find a solution. When we asked to speak to the manager, our request was declined. Eventually, we had to leave the hotel at 9 p.m., dragging our luggage through the streets of Phuket looking for another place to stay.

What should have been the joyful start of our holiday turned into a stressful, exhausting night. Regardless of whether the error came from Agoda or the hotel, a guest who has booked and paid in advance should never be left without a room.

This experience has completely changed my opinion of this hotel. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that no other guest is left stranded the way we were.
