Honestly an absolutely excellent massage and spa day. Brilliant. Right from the starting hospitality of the front desk. My massage therapist was Milka. One of the best deep tissue therapists out there. And I have been to quite the number globally. She is fantastic. The sauna is brilliant. Everything is a solid 10/10

The hotel provided the best view of Nairobi. The Ambience, facilities and staff were amazing
I've stayed several times over the last decade, and always feel a sense relief on arrival. The Villa Rosa Kempinski consistently offers everything the business traveller needs - good service, a great breakfast buffet, clean and very comfortable rooms. Location is excellent although you can always get snarled up in Nairobi traffic. Only downside is that it's a bit on the pricey side.
The waitress Dianah was a sweetheart🤍
Excellent service with attention for details.
The Turkish food was great too.

Excellent service by Belinda, keep it up
The staff was excellent, very professional and kind. They went above and beyond.
Good hospitality. Love the traditional attires and hotel staff did their best from gatemen to the core of the hotel
Food was nice
The stay was so beautiful and the food was so testy. Hotel staffs were friendly. Hillary made sure our hotel vehicle arrived on time to take us to the airport.
Super safe and secure, yet warm and welcoming. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Carolyne Wambugu was great throughout my stay, with great suggestions on how to navigate the city
The premises were very well appointed, clean and orderly. The ambience was active yet peaceful. The staff were attentive and very friendly and helpful. Carolyne in particular at the front desk was extremely supportive and switched on to guest needs.
The lighting could be a bit dim in the mezzanine lounge and a bit tricky if you want to read.
Our tour of Nairobi city today with our driver, David, was just sensational. He shared his rich knowledge of the history of the city and the way of life of the Nairobi people as we drove through multiple suburbs. We experienced the Giraffe Centre and Kobe Tough bead and leather goods making both of which were a real joy. A wonderful 5 hours with David. Highly recommend him and his tour. Maryanne.
Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi is an outstanding hotel, and my recent stay was truly exceptional.
The facility itself is elegant, well maintained, and of very high quality. But what makes the hotel truly shine is the staff. From the doormen and bellboys to the reception team, housekeeping, cleaners, restaurant staff, and everyone I encountered, the level of courtesy, warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail was remarkable.
Every interaction was handled with a smile. The staff were consistently helpful, polished, respectful, and genuinely welcoming throughout the day. They made the experience feel personal and effortless, which is what separates a good hotel from a truly memorable one.
I would very happily recommend Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi to anyone visiting Nairobi. I will definitely stay there again and again. The hotel is excellent, but the people are what make it exceptional.
Been going to kempinski hotel for many years, with family and friends.but I'm so sad as i write this.been seating at the lobby area having tea or coffee and have observed a certain short lady who works seats at a desk near the reception wearing red suits.a short lady.very bad one.she's always harassing girls who normally seats at the lobby area.what kind of a hotel does that.she should respect all guests.no wonder kempinski is getting few guests nowadays because of such habits.she harassed my lady when she was waiting for me at the lobby.kindly learn to respect all people.ladies are known to be so jealous especially hoteliers.because of such i would not come back to kempinski again.

I stayed here for a full week for work and I didn't even get tired of it! There are several restaurants onsite, I had meals at three, room service, and drinks/dinner at the Balcony Bar twice. I particularly loved the virgin mojito at the Balcony Bar, the alcohol cocktails were also nice, but I could have finished several of those mojitos. :) Reagan served me my first night at the Balcony Bar, and three days later when I walked in again, he remembered my name. The staff at the front door recognized me each morning and evening when I came and left the hotel. The woman who came to provide turn down service every night, Linet, was so kind and offered me a special caffeine-free tea even though I turned away her service. The hibiscus tea she gave me was absolutely wonderful!
The hotel had free wifi, and I particularly appreciated that the coverage was seamless from my room to all of the restaurants, and at the end of each day my computer logged back on without any effort on my part. I had 4 bars all of the time except when I was at the one restaurant farthest away when I had two bars and still had no trouble downloading email and texting photos.
My room was overlooking the busy freeway and road below - it was remarkable how well the curtains blocked out sound from the street. The pillows were very comfortable, the bed was well-appointed, but a little firm for me. My room had a HUGE soaking tub and a nice shower. They left me extra coffee each morning - it was very much needed as I tried to manage the 9-hour time difference from home.
The hotel was very secure, with all cars checked before being allowed up the driveway. The hotel is in a walled compound. There is no walking around outside the hotel.
I was not able to get Kenyan shilling cash when I was at the airport (I tried two different kiosks and neither would take credit cards - only cash - and it was late and the car was waiting for me so I didn't try the ATM - I should have went for an ATM). The staff at Kempinski walked me to an ATM across the parking lot to get cash, but it was a Sunday and the ATM was not open. They were able to get me a car to take me to a nearby mall and get cash, it was convenient and very safe, but also costly. I had to try three different credit cards in the ATM before one worked and it required a pin, something I don't really ever use a credit card for an ATM in the US. The nice gentleman who drove me even came looking for me when I didn't make it back to the car in the time he thought it should take. The ATM only gave me 1000 KSH (roughly $10) notes, and the front desk was willing to cash these in for 100 and 200 KSH notes on a daily basis (2000 - 3000 KSH at a time). The point - it wasn't as easy as I had hoped to get KSH and to use credit cards in Nairobi. Plan ahead - it was a MasterCard that finally worked, but apparently most Visa cards should work, too even though mine didn't. Everything at the hotel, including the car to go to the mall, could be charged to my room -- the cash was primarily for staff tips. And all of the staff deserved them. :)
