I cannot believe Expedia list this abomination of a place. No water in the pool just years of dirt and leaves tell you all you need to know about this scam complex!
We arrived at the address as per the booking (which is incorrect) and was faced with a derelict, drained pool and run down buildings and no reception. We eventually got through to someone via the phone number to be told they have moved everyone to another venue named: Panareti Coral Bay Resort. The apartment was outdated, had mould around the bath, Aircon not working in one room and most importantly was NOTHING like the images on the booking. We was miss-sold and misled. I took multiple photos as a comparison but i cannot attach these unfortunately as this would highlight what we encountered. Please do not book this if you want to be welcomed with what you paid for. We hardly stayed at the venue and didn't feel our stuff was safe whilst we was not there.
The reception area is a tiny room and it is locked. You need to dial a number found on the door for someone to come for check in. They advertise pool but pool is empty. Everything they advertise is nearby meaning you need to drive to go there. The apartment though was clean and spacious.
The place was deserted and neglected.
I did not agree to stay and spend the night at the place, so I was transferred to another place.
DO NOT BOOK HERE! This place is a scam and does not exist. They forward your name to another resort that is dirty and cheap and looks nothing like the pictures you book. They also won’t inform you of this until you show up. We got there at 11 pm to a man standing there telling us to go somewhere else. This place needs to be removed.
Shows a lot of promise but generally quite unloved. Damaged furniture, cracked floor tiles but a great sized apartment, exceptional views, nice pool and walkable to the village centre.
Dirty pillows, no interest in covid-safety from staff and a general feeling of abandonment due to lack of guests.
The litter around the pool stayed there longer than we did.
This property is possibly the worst I have EVER been to. We checked out the minute we checked in and never got to speak to anyone to get a refund. So they have normally processed my stay without even us staying there. The “reception” is a tiny room without air conditioning, the receptionist could barely speak english. The reception is a tiny room woth a dirty carpet and a fan not even a window. Outside the door there were dirty unwashed clothes including bed sheets thrown on the floor. The flats were nothing like advertised, broken chairs on the balcony, a thick dirty blanket on the beddings (it’s currently 40 degrees) the flat was not cleaned properly, the curtains were ripped. And I have photos of everything!!! I really hope expedia takes this property down because it’s an embarrassment to cypriot tourism and expedia as a booking platform which doesn’t verify the properties they have on there. We ended up booking a hotel (so these holidays cost us twice what they would have originally).
Only good was the size of the apartment and the friendly receptionist. There were no lights in the parking, the tv was not working, balcony doors were broken, no wifi in the room even if it says that there is free wifi, communal areas such as parking were not clean, overall the place looked abandoned.
Quite secluded in the mountains , amenities in apartment particularly the kitchen were good. But no hair dryer or iron. Shower was poor. Paint peeling off walls . We didn’t have a car so walking to village very exhausting. We stayed 4 days bedding and towels never replaced.
Property to far from anywhere.. Hired a car and moved to sister property to be on flat area.. To Hilly here and nothing around
Property was clean but not quite like the pictures
I used this accomodation whilst staying out there for some work on my own property. Its was ok has some damage from storms over the winter that had just been painted over. Fridge in my studio flat ran constantly through the night and there are a lot of cockerills live nearby that are noisy througout the night not the properties fault but annoying all the same. Was ok for what i needed i only slept there and didnt use the pool etc. Aircon was very poor didnt cool the room. I was in block A which has a road that cars cut through at speed. Wouldnt go on holiday there for me personally. Guy on reception or maintenance office was very pleasant and helpful. Would probably not be back ideal for what i needed. I didmt report any issues as i didmt have time etc. Was on for sleeping in.
The property is towards the top end of Pegeia so recommend people have a vehicle. Plenty of covered car parking. We stayed their 5 years ago and this time found exterior finishes to be flaking giving a bad look. Internally the flat still looked modern, clean and tidy. Caution or be ware flat is unserviced during stay so will need to buy some toiletries and bin bags etc. Although mid week a bag of fresh linens were deposited outside our door. Great views from our room on the top floor of block A.
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night, the accommodation was very clean but very sparse, nothing at all like the pictures though, it was VERY BASIC, not somewhere I would chose to stay longer than 1 night
When we arrived at our hotel we found that there had been a flood. We were offered alternative room at there sister hotel. The Coral Bay Hotel. Everything turned out great and the staff went out of there way to ensure we were happy.
We were moved to St Nicolas as this property was flooded. I was not pleased as St Nicolas we had no hot water the first 2 days. The hotel did get an engineer but I think the problem was the floods and consistent rain. I would not stay here again. The reception was friendly but the hotel I wanted was a better one so I felt I was given a cheap room in this hotel
Location to my friends house, only 1 set of bedding when 2 men staying in room, shower worked well but bracket to hold shower was broken and reported first day but not fixed.
In a peaceful and rural location away from busy towns. One can experience rural life of Cyprus. The accommodation itself is good.. but lacked enough cutlery in the house.. also remotes were not working.
The apartment was very nice and clean, lots of kitchen utensils, large fridge. Plenty of towels, spare sheet, extra blanket and pillow. It was cold so we were glad if the heater in the bedroom.
The second lining on the curtains were ripped so only came down about 1/3 of the way. The first layer was very thin, so light shone in in the morning, and at night with the lights on, people would have been able to see in.
Couldn’t use the bed side lamps as they had two pin plugs and the wall sockets were for 3 pin. In the lounge the tv has a two pin plug that had been pushed into the 3 hole socket. I’m not sure if that’s ok or not, but we weren’t able to plug in the two pin plugs, and didn’t want to risk it.
It was out of season, so we didn’t use the pool area, but it looked nice.
Good place for holiday
