⚠️ WARNING: Inexcusable lack of after-hours support. Locked out for hours!
Be aware that hotel staff are only present on-site during standard business hours. If you have an emergency at night, you are forced to deal with a third-party answering service that merely takes messages and relays them. Management's actual response to a crisis is completely unacceptable.
The Incident:
On our second night, we arrived back at the hotel at 11:30 PM to find a large crowd of fellow guests stranded outside. The hotel's electronic front door was broken and would not open.
The other guests had already been waiting outside for a couple of hours and had repeatedly contacted the after-hours line.
It took an additional 2 hours—plus the arrival of the police and fire department—just to finally get the door open for us.
The hotel took over 3 hours just to send a representative who couldn't do anything to fix the issue, and management flat-out refused to authorize an after-hours locksmith to let us in.
The Apartment:
To be fair, the interior of the apartment matched the pictures perfectly. We stayed in a 3+2 apartment at the end of June 2026. It was clean, as advertised, and featured a kitchen with a washing machine. Just be aware of the layout: the entry is on the ground floor with one level located below ground, and the lower-level bedroom windows open directly into an exterior stairwell.

Falta de mantenimiento, cogimos un apartamento con dos baños ,precisamente pq eramos 4 personas y eran necesarios
Uno de ellos tenía la puerta estropeada y t quedabas encerrado, llamaron a mantenimiento, no vino nadie , tuvimos q recordarlo al dia siguiente, vino un obrero q lo unico q hizo fue conseguir q la puerta a duras penas abriera, con mucha dificultad
Para eso hubiera contratado un solo baño , puesto q la función fue la misma
Falta de mantenimiento en grifos q se descuelgan, luces q no funcionan..
Etc etc
Decepción pq las fotos prometían mucho pero le hace falta un arreglo urgente
Localização
A perfect stay for our family with two teens. Having 2 bathrooms was helpful and the accommodations were very clean and the a/c cool (essential for the heat wave)! Ruslana and Salvador were extremely helpful with all of our questions and needs. The location is excellent for small supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Getting a taxi/Uber was no problem at all. We would definitely stay here again!
The apartment was absolutely perfect. When we arrived, the friendly staff explained everything we needed to know with very simple, clear instructions. Although the lift was small, the setup was extremely practical—we didn't need any keys since everything used digital codes, allowing our group to come and go completely independently.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and had excellent AC in every room, which was absolutely essential given the extremely hot weather. The kitchen was fully equipped and functional, providing all the basics we could possibly need.
The location was another major highlight. The neighbourhood felt both lively and safe, surrounded by charming little streets filled with cafes and vintage shops. It was also incredibly convenient, with at least three small supermarkets nearby and plenty of shops and restaurants that stayed open late. Plus, we were very close to the main metro stations and within walking distance of the city centre and several top attractions.
The lift was a bit small but it didn't affect us as much as we were on the first floor

Everything was good
The apartment was fine. The people who worked onsite were helpful. The management DOES NOT CARE ABOUT GUESTS. When the outside door was broken and would not let patrons in, Erik Vokel did nothing about it. At 12:30 a.m. we called the Police who brought the Fire Department to open the door. Erik Vokel has only 9-5 reception. The emergency number went to an answering service. Erik Vokel would not pay the locksmith we called to open the door. If everything works, it seems they are fine. If something does not work, they are worthless. No compensation was made and 40 people, babies to elderly, were outside until close to 1:00a.m.
The location was very convenient for riding the metro and also walking to activities and sites. Having a front desk and luggage storage was convenient and helpful. The building is unique with the brick walls and big windows. It was relatively quiet given the street is a busy one and there are lots of apartments. The 2 bathrooms were wonderful - nice pressure and plenty of hot water. Very clean. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. Would stay again.
Because our living room was in the “basement” of the apartment/building, it felt a little damp. We washed clothes in the washing machine and the dryer was built in to the washing machine. This was unique - instructions to use would have been helpful. We ended up leaving some clothes out to dry on the chairs but without direct sunlight, they didn’t dry fully.
The second bedroom with two twin beds was a bit cramped. We ended up putting our suitcases out in the hallway, which was spacious.

El baño. Al ducharse se llena todo de agua. Lavabo pequeño. Sin posibilidad de poner las cosas de aseo por falta de estanterías o similar.

El chico de recepción fue muy amable. El apartamento era muy bonito. Está muy cerca del metro.
Era un apartamento para 6 pero 2 tuvieron que dormir en un sofá cama y otros 2 tenían su “habitación” separada por un biombo, así que técnicamente solo había una habitación.
Muy amplio , muy buena ubicación y un personal muy amable.
El baño demasiado pequeño. Sobre todo la parte del lavabo.
