ガーデンプールのロケーションが最高でした。スライダーや温水プール、ホットエリアまで寒くても遊べて有難いです。卓球施設も良かったです。サップやカヌー30分サービスも嬉しかったです。
女風呂の脱衣所が毛だらけで気持ち悪かったです。
We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Mercure Okinawa Cape Zanpa Resort. Large car park so no trouble finding a space (could be hard in the peak season though). We arrived just before the designated check in time of 3PM, but no issues proceeding with check in. Check in is "manual" as in you have to line up at the front desk (no self check in kiosks that I could see), so a bit of a wait, but otherwise check in was easy and staff were pleasant.
Our room was very spacious, which I always find to be a nice luxury when travelling in Japan. We also had a nice view of the coast and cape. Beds were comfy, bathroom clean and modern (just a shower). Plenty of space to put luggage.
Quite a few souvenir type shops within the hotel itself so you can get bits and pieces (we bought ice cream for dessert).
There is a large Japanese style bath, my wife said it was good but I didn't get to check it out as our boy chickened out at the last minute (it did seem quite busy as a big travel group had just checked in).
There is a great pool area but as we were staying in winter (mid to late January), we didn't get to make full use of it. Very cool looking water slides but since it was windy and rainy we didn't end up trying these. As our boy loves the water, we went with the lazy river, which was "heated" but only to a very luke-warm degree... so beware to anyone swimming in winter! Sadly the big main pool is not heated so missed out. There is also an adults only (18+) pool area which I understand is heated but we didn't go in there.
We didn't book with out package, but decided to go with the buffet breakfast the next morning. Quite busy even in the middle of winter but plenty of seating (might be a fight for a table in peak season). Lots of breakfast options, with a lot of local fare.
Price-wise, I believe this was a reasonable option that is value for money.
Would definitely stay again when travelling to Okinawa.
No real faults with our stay. Staff on pool patrol duty seemed a bit depressed but I guess that happens when you have to be outside in the wind and rain. We didn't feel like eating at the hotel restaurant, but there were no real room service options except pizza. We ended up going downstairs to the pizza bar/restaurant to eat which was fine, food was good but limited choices. Just something to be aware of if you are arriving after a long day travelling and don't feel like going out.

プールエリアのパラソルと椅子の量が客の割合に対して少なすぎる。もっと増やして欲しい。
また女性大浴場のドライヤーの数も少なすぎる。
今回利用したが、ドライヤーでかなり待ちました。

併設プールと歩いて5分のビーチが利用できたり、お酒も飲み放題でお得感がありました。ビーチアクティビティやプールのスライダーが思っていたより良かったです！朝食のポキと沖縄そばが美味しかったです。
エレベーターがなかなか来ず、階段を頻繁に利用しました。朝食は開始前に並ばないと待ち時間がすごいです。ビーチが見えない部屋を取りましたが、目の前が建物の屋根になっていて、そこに洗濯物がずっと落ちていました。
The water park was fantastic, and the pools and slides were great - perfect for older kids. Both were extremely clean and well staffed with lifeguards. The Adults pool was great.
The public baths were stunning - again, so clean
The complementary happy hour (3pm to 9pm) is nice however people hit the alcohol hard, particularly the spirits in the later evening.
- The food - options and quality. There’s only one buffet restaurant, it’s very expensive ($100 pp for dinner and they charge minors for all you can drink alcohol) and it is absolute chaos. People are lining hallways for hours to get in for breakfast. The pool bar only serves beer, strange mojitos and sugary soft drinks, and the only food available there is fries (good) pizzas (basic, not good) and burgers (not good, stale buns). Suggest booking well rated restaurants nearby (before your trip - they book up quickly) and taking taxis. Getting supermarket sushi or meals (closest one is 15 mins away) was much nicer for lunches.
- There was no gym (even though the website claims there is one)
- Rooms are tired
- Lifts frequently stop working/take too long so often you are trekking up stairs

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig. Die Pools sind sehr toll und es gibt einen kostenlosen Wasserspender. Am Buffet ist es sehr sauber.
Das Essen war jeden Tag gleich, bis auf zwei drei Gerichte am Buffet die alle zwei Tage gewechselt wurden.
Das Personal hat teilweise gestresst oder auch ungeschult gewirkt, trotzdem waren sie höflich.
