Everything - room advertised as a suite and it was basically
A hotel room they squeezed a fridge and sink in
This hotel jacked up the rate to luxury prices on a football weekend. Queen-size bed despite plenty of room for a king and no bed stand on one side. Blinking light in the smoke detector was annoying in the dark. And worst of all -- no housekeeping service during our stay. The staff were apathetic. In all, what a fail for the HUGE price.
No hand soap. No
No hand soap in the bathroom. And never received any the whole time we were there. Was told the “truck shipment” hasn’t arrived yet and never did apparently for the over $300 room we paid for.
It took over 5 minutes for the water to get hot in the shower the first night. Second day was faster but final day took a long tilmeagain.
Great location! Nice to have a full fridge. Comfy bed and smelled nice and clean!
Great place to stay in the Little Apple! Availability is wonderful when KSU games are played away and bigger KSU functions are not in play. If you choose a weekend for big functions and games - book extra early advance. Clean, comfortable and great staff. If you are a late check in (after 11:00pm) be mindful of your surroundings as there were sketchy people walking, biking and driving around the lots (there are 2 other hotels next door) and the parking lot lighting for all is very low and dark.

Excellence customer service, Spacious room. They made u feel like family.
Some stuff didn’t work in my room, or was not fully attached so they “broke” during my stay. Floormates were noisy but that’s not on staff or the hotel. But in a good location and I liked the space I had in the suite to cook, if I could, and microwave and had a fridge!
Love the stay at Candlewood Suites Manhattan. Staff was friendly. Great location. Quiet room. I loved no daily room service, felt more private. Magnets for communication on door were a fun touch!
They have tv but if you are wanting to use cable good luck? They do have movies downstairs to play in dvd player in the room.
The room was very big and clean.
There was no breakfast. We had to switch rooms because the TV and the air conditioner did not work in the first one.
