Good location , Priya does a great job
Terrible noise at night from HVAC , couldn’t sleep well at all . Housekeeping is not sincere about replanting bathroom supplies or even 2 water bottles every day . I had to call and ask reception every day later in the day

The location in downtown Palo Alto is great, if that's what your looking for. And the Nobu restaurant is of course delicious. The rooms are nicely decorated. The staff was friendly.
However, as one of the most expensive (if not the most expensive) hotels in a wealthy city like Palo Alto, I was expecting a more luxurious experience. The room was nicely designed and perfectly comfortable, but I wouldn't call it luxurious. There was no grand lobby, beautiful garden, or killer fitness center. The gym was fine but small and the lobby was also fine but small. There is only one elevator so you sometimes have to wait a bit for it or take the stairs, which are kind of dirty and banged up since they're really intended as fire escape stairs (I assume). The staff was very nice, but again, I had been expecting to be impressed by outstanding luxury service, and I definitely was not.
