Room decor had been updated, it has so much potential
Dirty. I know it's a value priced room so I in that respect it was nice however it doesnt matter how low the price is, there is no excuse for a dirty room. Sand all over the floors, even after we swept the floor ourselves twice. Dirty molding, terrible paint work, Dirty floors as evidenced by the towel we used in the floor after a shower came up black. Bedding felt almost damp, bed was uncomfortably soft & only provided 3 pillows. Funky smell in the fridge. Overall, it has so much potential they just need to clean much better & pay attention to some of the details. The process to get in was only by calling a phone number & being on hold then being transferred to someone whose English wasn't the easiest to understand.
The area was nice and everything was close by and I didn't have to drive far away.
The ac air conditioner could've been better and the shampoo/conditioner dispenser didn't work in my room but other than that everything else was great
Needed better choice of coffee pods. Liked the little cookie snacks.
Refrigerator was broken. TV screen had permanent vertical lines in it.
The dockside.
Very close to everything queen size room was plenty enough space for the full kitchen counter, but no stove. Which I didn’t use I brought a grill.
The air conditioner wasn’t pushing out cold air
I stayed in Room 10 (queen unit) for two nights and paid $393 total. I want to start by saying I was really looking forward to this stay after reading so many positive reviews, so it was disappointing that my experience didn’t match the expectations.
The biggest issue was the bed — I could feel almost every spring in the mattress, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The Wi-Fi also kept cutting in and out, which was frustrating.
My biggest complaint, though, was the lack of curtains. There were blinds, but they did little to block out the early morning sunlight. The room became very bright around 6 a.m., making it hard to rest. As someone with PTSD, I cannot sleep with anything covering my head, so this was a major inconvenience and something I wish had been mentioned or addressed.
Another inconvenience was that there were no basic toiletries like hand soap, body wash, or shampoo. While I understand I could have packed my own, these are usually standard at most hotels, so I wasn’t prepared and had to make a trip to Walgreens.
Overall, I was let down by the stay. The location may be great, but for the price, I expected a much more comfortable and accommodating experience.
Proximity to beach, shopping, restaurants.
Floors were a tad dirty, little like fruit flies were all in the window seals, and flying while trying to sleep. A/C was as cool as I prefer.
The location was great.
Bathroom was small.
The water front it was nice to go out in the morning and watch the birds.
I had brought my boat down with me and the parking lot is not suitable for turning around or parking with a boat.
Good location
No on site staff, parking lot flooded, no walkway to our room, had to walk through grass, poop and mud. Had to call and get help to find our room. Rooms on back side of property not properly advertised as to how to get to them. Other tenants fighting all night and throwing things, keeping us awake. No WiFi and no one to help. A complete shit show.
Location and view
Not too much I like except the view.
Could not use the walkway since there was a work van parked there blocking it. We had to go around the dumpster and walk on a very uneven path. Also, the room smelled like dog urine. There was a cockroach in the sink and the beds were like sleep on bricks.
The beach
Room was not what I booked wasn't 450 sqft room had bed microwave fridge no chairs table had to set on the bed for everything room I was shown had view if water I got view if highway. Blind didn't cover whole window u could see the bed from outside rm 10
Location
Not clean. Very dark room
The door code was amazing and made checking in as simple as opening a door!
It definitely needed a good cleaning. Their were underwear and shorts already under one of the beds and the one bathroom was out of hand soap and had a used wash cloth on top the shower curtain.
