It truly is a mini paradise with attentive and friendly staff.
Pros:

I have stayed in many hotels around the world but the villa style hotels room with beautiful gardens and pool were fantastic. Designed to be totally private with a very short walk to the beach. I highly recommend this property and take half board as the chef is excellent!

Gorgeous, delicious, comfortable! A nice base for exploring Zanzibar.
Pros:

The villa was spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The garden and jetty were beautiful. The food was delicious; we booked half-board and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Zanzi. Lunch was available on the activities we booked.
We especially enjoyed the wide menu of easy-to-book tours and activities on the island. Enjoyed a fantastic Stone Town & Spice Tour day, and two snorkeling expedition days. No need for a car!

Perfekter Ort für Erholungssuchende mit dem Wunsch nach Zweisamkeit und top Rund-um-Service.
Pros:

Pool: Unser privater Pool vor der Villa 7, eingerahmt von einer herrlichen Fauna und einem sehr schönen Sonnenuntergangs-Blick war traumhaft.
Essen: Bestes Frühstück!!! Umwerfende Auswahl und top Qualität. Dinner: Nur sehr selten beim 3-Gang-Menü nicht zufrieden gewesen. Getränke: Top Getränkeauswahl und Qualität, sehr leckere Varianten Hibiskustee.
Strand: Wer hier her kommt, kommt nicht wegen der Strände, die sind an anderen Orten Sansibars deutlich schöner. Hier verbringt man Zeit wegen der außerordentlichen Privatsphäre, der Ruhe, des wundervollen gepflegten tropischen Gartens und des exzellenten Services und auch wegen des sehr guten Essens.

Cons:

Klagen auf sehr hohem Niveau, aber: Die besonders am Vormittag erhebliche Rauchentwicklung von Feuerstellen AUSSERHALB des Resorts, auf die das Resort grds. KEINEN Einfluss hat, war im Bereich der Villa 7 sehr nervig. Ein Aufenthalt im Freien vor der Villa war nur sehr eingeschränkt möglich, da der beißende Rauch einen vertrieb. Leider hatten wir dieses Ärgernis an allen 5 Tagen.

Paradise which would have been perfect with a better night's sleep!
Pros:

Such a beautiful place! I fell in love with the resort as soon as I arrived!

Dinner was good in the evening. I loved the villa and its surroundings! Most of the staff were very friendly!

Cons:

Unfortunately a noise woke me up at 4.30 am and I couldn't go back to sleep resulting in only 5 hours sleep! I mentioned it at checkout but they said there was nothing that could be done as it was their neighbours. If it wasn't for that I would already have booked my next stay with them!

Also my bed was very creaky and I was sleeping alone, and the pillows were poor quality too!

Excellent stay with amazing staff, but not your best option if you want beach time
Pros:

Incredible staff, good food and freshly renewed villas.

Cons:

While the resort itself is quite amazing with incredible views and very private experience, the beach is very rocky and can’t be enjoyed as well as in other locations on Zanzibar.
