Khao Lak Traveller Lodge

Vårt första boende då vi kom till Thailand. Väldigt enkelt budgetboende, men jag gillade enkelheten och ägarinnan var mycket hjälpsam med allt. Vi kunde boka utflykter via henne. De hade även massagebehandlingar på hotellet och de var mycket bra! Det fanns rum utan fönster, kanske mindre trevliga. Vi fick välja rum då vi kom fram o tog ett med fönster mot baksidan. Stördes ej av trafiken som annars trafikerade vägen precis utanför hotellets framsida. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell om du kan ta enkelheten och vill bo billigt.

Good place to start of after arriving in Phuket and with plans to head north. Fair airport pickup service and reasonably priced tours around Khao Lak. Situated right next to route 4 it's not the most quit place but it's a good overnight place or base to see a bit of the area. Major downside was that the owner was trying to sell me a ride with their own business service although I knew about the public bus and just wanted to reconfirm the right one to take .

Servisminded som fan. O maten är gudomlig!
Ligger i början på khaolak så de e lugnt om nätterna. Hyr man en moppe så e de nära till allt.

Rekomenderas starkt. Mycket prisvärt!

The owner and her staff were just amazing. Felt more like family. Most friendly staff I’ve met in Thailand. They have a tour company and will really take care of you and give you the best rate around. I was sad to leave such great people. Since WiFi is just innkobby área, made it easier to get to know them. Great price and the room was comfortable. I’d stay here again

Very very nice staff! Gave me lots of help from start to finished, even flagged down a bus for me when i left. Great people!

nett geführtes kleines Hostel. Add - die Chefin - war supernett und war sehr hilfreich bei der Organisation von Taxi, Moped...(alles zu einem sehr guten Preis)

Nopea visiitti. Hyvä vaihtoehto jos viivyt vain lyhyen aikaa.

Hotel propre mais chambre sans fenêtre, de même pour toutes les chambres.On a l'impression d'être enfermé dans une boite à chaussure.L'hôtel est situé au bord de la jolie 4 voies qui traversent Khao Lak, je ne vous parle donc pas du bruit car vous l'aurez deviné.C'est vraiment pas le top mais c'est tout de même un bon rapport-qualité- prix (20 euros pour deux la nuit).Juste possible en guise de solution de secours!La route en face de l'hôtel est dangereuse pour accéder à la plage (si vous avez des enfants).Néanmoins chambre propre mais pas de petit-dej. le matin malgré que nous l'avions payé!

Just wanted a place to sleep and that's what I got. A no frills hotel with the basics covered. The bed was comfortable, AC worked well, and the shower was nice and warm. Breakfast in the morning till about 9:30AM was also a plus although it was usually just simple fruit, toast, coffee and eggs. For budget travelers this is a good place to stay. The room I had didn't have windows... But since it was just me, I didn't complain. Try and get a room away from the front of the hotel. At night there's a bar downstairs that gets a little loud. I had no problems since there weren't any windows, that kept the sound out and I could sleep well.

Good budget hotel. Very basic with breakfast provided in the morning. Don't look for luxury though, you won't find it here. The beds are comfortable, the AC works well, and the shower is at a comfortable temperature. Stay away from the rooms that face the main street as it can get loud at night with the bar downstairs. My room had no windows which was not all that nice but at least it was quiet and I could sleep well enough.

Skønt lille sted med en super service. Hun snakker engelsk så super nemt at kommunikere. Rigtig godt internet dog er der kun net i receptionen, men det anså vi ikke som en problem fordi lobbyen er hyggeligt indrettet. Lige udenfor er der mad som er super lækker og åbner allerede kl.6.30. Område: tæt på centrum, 10 min fra strand.

Er et kjempe lite sted kaoh lak,men kjempe koselig. Hotellet og de som jobbet der var fantastiske. Vet ikke om man kunne få med frokost i prisen,men det hadde ikke vi. Men det kostet nesten ingen ting for maten som ble laget utenfor inngangen av en eldre dame,og jeg spiste der hver dag. A+ Endte hver kveld med og ta noen pils med andre gjester og hotellets utside,mange gode minner og skal tilbake hit neste thailands tur.

The room was spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely. Close to the beach and a short walk to shops etc.

This hotel is located at "the beginning" of Khao Lak, it will take you about 5 minutes of walking to get to the "center", but if you're fine with that, I'll definitely recommend this hotel. Nice and clean, quite small rooms though and no wifi except in the reception, other than that It's all good. Woman who runs the place was really nice and funny !

I stayed there before and after my 4 day live aboard to Surin Island. The hotel is clean and owners are friendly. The front rooms have windows but the street is a little noisy in the morning. Side rooms are windowless. Hot water is good, a/c good, no lift, WiFi only works in lobby near the office, breakfast is basic hard boiled egg cereal toast. Not worth 200 baht. The hotel is at the very south end of Khao Lak so you will need to walk about 15 to 20 minutes to the centre. You can cut through the resorts to get to the beach.
