Pros:

Room was basic but everything I needed. Loved the pub and the food.

Cons:

The pub was closed on Monday. My second night.

Awesome stay, near to everything around Melbourne.
Pros:

I continue to come back. Staff, location, bedroom and ensuite bathroom is amazing. I enjoy coming back. Room is generally clean and I thank all the staff for what you do for me.

Cons:

Noise from outside, but I can't complain really.

Overall, we were quite happy. The negative issues mentioned above did not spoil our stay.
Pros:

Good location for us. We needed to be in Parkville, but it is also convenient to get to the city.
Nice and quiet, despite the busy restaurant downstairs and the busy road nearby.
Room compact but comfortable.

Cons:

We struggled to get the A/C to work properly.
Room was not serviced each day, despite assurances that it would be.
Though the staff were very friendly, it was not always easy to locate them.

I will definitely be back, as I found it extremely comfortable and a decent price :)

Convenient to the University
Pros:

Convenient to University of Melbourne. Clean and functional. New ensuite in old building. Bed good.
Rooms upstairs no lift. Old building.
Double room ok for one person

Cons:

For the price can't complain. As restaurant closed on Monday and limited reception hours I couldn't ask for another tea bag after 5pm.
