It’s a very quiet and natural setting. Rest assured.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were amazing—spotlessly clean and spacious. I was offered a sweet and premium room, which was very large and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities, including a very big bathtub. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, as well as the surrounding garden, gym, and all the amenities. Everything was excellent and truly value for money. I highly recommend this hotel in Wuxi.
Nicely done place in Chinese architecture. The rooms were spacious including the bathroom. Quality products in the bathroom with a good layout.
The food buffet was very average with plenty of dishes re-boiled/stale tasting. Not even cold beer although it was placed on ice.
The worst was the pool which literally stank of piss (Aug’24)
Wouldn’t go back!
It’s a beautiful building, feels very traditional with modern amenities in the rooms.
The temperature of the swimming pool was perfect!
Check in staff was super friendly and even could speak good English!
Our Executive suite was beautiful and comfortable! Really loved the huge bathtub!
- Lounge:
Advertised on Radisson website, Booking and other, the Executive Lounge is actually not in use. (Cited reason: not enough customers) This meant that we had to go in the cold(!) lobby bar, where for the afternoon tea, when I asked if there was any snack other than cake for the afternoon tea, such as peanuts, I was given 1 plate of fried food (chicken, chicken and chicken) !!PER ROOM!!. Not knowing that this was my evening happy hour food, I accepted these snacks by the friendly staff, and thus when my wife arrived later for the evening happy hour, we were told there was nothing left to eat at all.
After long conversations with the reception staff in charge (who, when I told him this was unacceptable for a 5 star Radiason Blu, told me this wasn’t really a 5 star…), he finally found someone to go make further fried chicken popcorn and a bowl of salad.
(Quick note, the evening reception male staff was not once apologetic, didn’t try to make us feel welcome - in fact, we were obviously bothering him)
Also, the super friendly female staff at the Lounge Bar couldn’t have been expected to know how to make cocktails, so other than good quality whiskies and a few other drinks served, nothing was really available.
- Breakfast:
The variety of food was less than subpar, very few pastries, basic “continental breakfast”. We were very disappointed with this “5 star” Radisson’s breakfast. It was also very cold.
- Although the swimming pool looked clean and was at a good temperature, the changing rooms weren’t cleaned very often. There was dirty tissues on a counter before my swim, and it was still there after.
Basically, this may not have been full season, but if a well known brand such as Radisson Blu advertises their 5 star RESORT hotel with all these amazing amenities, it should deliver. However, it doesn’t and I wouldn’t recommend this to any friends. I have lived in China for 10 years already, and have stayed in many cheaper and more expensive hotels.
We were looking for a quiet getaway and we wanted to avoid the holiday crowd so this was the perfect place for us. We were able to have a good staycation experience.
We made a mistake of not looking at the location and transport options in detail so we found out too late that it’s far from everything that we wanted to visit.
All was great
All good
The staff was very polite, breakfast was very good. the food in lobby lounge was very good.
the executive suites are bit bad located. we had to walk over a rooftop area to get to the suite, no connection with covered corridor. inside the suite the floor was quite dirty and dusty, that we had to call service for cleaning. we got offered to change to another suite but situation in two other suites wasn’t very different. the executive lounge was also the lobby lounge. we expected to get some simple food for free in executive lounge like in other hotels but here were only beverages and a bowl of nuts available/free.
좋아요
This is one of the most calming places I have ever had the pleasure of staying. The rooms are superb and the surrounding park is absolutely beautiful. My only regret is that my stay was too short. I just wish I could have stayed longer.
This hotel is something special - built in a very nice architecture with big entrance, and a beautiful garden. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a nice mixture of Asia meets West!
The hotel has very good service and nice clean rooms. All well connected with free WiFi. The bar has always live performance (at least all times I have been there!) Breakfast is very good but lacking some raw material for Continental breakfast.
The hotel is quite far from the city centre, but was good and relaxing. Perfect for retreats and experiencing a traditional Chinese building. Staff were super friendly - the staff had given me her name card before I headed out to explore the city myself and thank God for that because my taxi driver from the city got lost driving to the hotel.
Beautiful hotel in a peaceful area.
Big garden. Big room with beautiful and clean bathroom.
Breakfast with big choice of food. all good.
Restaurant not tested.
Price high but in the average taking in consideration the location.
Resort is expansive with long walks to the rooms. Unlike most Chinese hotels this one is on three levels and this leads to a lot of walking to almost anywhere.
Breakfast was really quite good and the staff were very accommodating. The hotel itself is very nice but a very long way out of the town (approx 1 hour) and set in what seems to be an industrial area
A very nice resort with a Balinese feel. Our room was very comfortable with its own balcony which was nice.
We had trouble with dinner as our two bus tours arrived around dinner time only to find that the restaurant was completely full . The staff were not prepared for this but should have been because they knew we were coming. Some of us were led to an un air conditioned room with no atmosphere situated a long way from the main dining room - language was a problem when ordering.
Hotel grounds are amazing. Nice for a walk along the river.
Rooms are great, comfortable and clean as I have come to expect from Radison. We really liked the room
Reception and check in was poor. Reception lady took a number of phone calls and kept us waiting whilst checking us in.
The buffet restaurant makes the corridors smell of fried food all day. Not good.
Breakfast was a terrible experience. The restaurant is dirty. Ayi walking around with a waste food bin dumping leftover food into a stinking bin as we ate breakfast. Kitchen area around the buffet was filthy. Nobody could understand how to make an omelette.
Great Hotel Property. Really weak hotel management that has allowed the service and discipline slip to the level of a low end hotel.
This hotel looked like a country resort it covers a large area overlooking gardens. The room was comfortable the bed and pillows too. The hotel has a swimming pool indoors. The lounge area is very comfortable where the serve you drinks before you sit down for a meal. I enjoyed this quaint hotel.
Radison Blu Resort Wetland Park Wuxi is a five-star garden-style hotel that integrates the essence of Wu Culture. The hotel is located on the banks of the picturesque Lianghong Wetland Park. Each room offers a beautiful view of the artistic atmosphere in the Jiangnan Garden from the window and is equipped with a 42-inch LED color TV.
We were half way through our China holiday when we spent the night here. A beautiful resort set in tranquil chocolate-box grounds – just what the doctor ordered after our whirlwind trip through China. During the evening we sat outside with a drink chatting about our brilliant day while taking in the beautiful setting. We then had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The staff could not be more helpful. Our room was lovely and again, a great bed that was neither too soft nor too hard – just right. After a peaceful night’s rest we strolled around the delightful grounds before eating a hearty and tasty breakfast and setting off to Shanghai. I recommend this resort. PS. Has free Wi-Fi and 3-hour express laundry.
