Amaru Apart Hotel

Das Hotel selbst ist von außen eher unscheinbar, innen aber mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Funktionale Zimmer, Frühstück wird am Vortag gebracht. Sehr persönliche und nette Betreuung durch das Team.

The reception staff was very helpful even though their English was limited. They pre ordered a taxi to pick us up in the morning and called when he arrived. Food service was good as well.

Lovely greeting from the owner/manager who spoke fluent English but let me practice my Spanish. All the other staff lovely. Secure parking on request, fully equpped kitchenette, comfie beds, great shower! Its on a busy road so a bit noisy in the morning. Good breakfast. There is a resturant in the hotel, the menu looked good.

The hotel is located on Avenida Argentina, which is a busy road in Antofagasta. Because the hotel has no air conditioning in the rooms you have to leave the windows open to let the breeze in; however, this forces you to hear all of the noises of the city all night long.

Good for a couple of nights

Es un Hotel muy cómodo y cerca del centro y mal para realizar compras y pasear en familia.

I stayed at Amaru for a business trip for a couple weeks. The service was great and the room was comfortable. It came with everything I would need for an extended stay - pots & pans, dishes, appliances, etc. The beds were not the most comfortable, but they worked. The service was good and staff was friendly, but they didn't speak much English. I don't have much Spanish, which made it difficult. Now the negatives. The parking was a joke. They have a small turn off of a busy road and I regularly got parked in by other guests or neighbors. The neighborhood wasn't the greatest with a disco nearby and loud music playing late into night on the weekends. Also the wifi in the room was spotty.

Muy comodo

Fue muy agradable. La atención del personal muy buena, la habitación cómoda e iluminada. El aseo diario muy bueno.El único punto que puedo observar es la falta de un estacionamiento cerrado, aunque no tuve ningún problema con el vehículo.

Me sorprendió que no habían artículos de baño, sólo jabón líquido para hombres. Es el primer hotel en el que me ocurre. El desayuno incluido es muy pobre. La ubicación no es muy buena, pero tampoco insegura. Habitación muy bonita, tal cual se ve en las fotos, pero la limpieza del kitchenette dejó mucho que desear. Calificación general: REGULAR

The people are great and welcoming. Well appointed kitchenette, living area and bedroom. Good option for Antofagasta.

Hot shower, free reliable wifi, reasonable breakfast by local standards (delivered to your room the evening before for your preparation).

Rooms run a little cool in and there doesn't seem to be a thermostat for the room. No restaurant and none in walking distance. There's a shell station across the street that I suspect may have drinks and snacks for sale.

Like all hotels in Antofagasta the hotel is on a street with regular traffic. If noise is a concern (it wasn't for me), ask for a room facing hillside.

Rooms available with one or two bedrooms, if I understand correctly.

Worth a stay.

We had to choose a hotel for a one night stop over in the city and this place stood out for it's price (much cheaper) and photos of the rooms on the website. When we arrived it by far exceeded our expectations, we had a large comfortable space in which to relax. The staff were helpful and friendly, even with out late night check in. It was the best room we had in Chile.

Hubo problemas con la reserva, pero los dueños no permiten que el pasajero asuma los costos y se ocupan personalmente por entregar y asegurar que se reciba la mejor atención.

La calidad y limpieza excelentes
