Struttura ordinata, personale efficiente e cordiale.

It is an exceptional historical property with a welcoming and helpful owner and staff. The location is excellent.
A great historical building , with a lot of charm, super nice staff and right in the city center of the old town! We had the chance to have a big room with a balcony on the top of the building: fantastic!!!
The staff are wonderful particularly at front of house.
L'emplacement est parfait pour une immersion dans Stone town. Le personnel et la directrice de l'hôtel sont vraiment disponibles.
Certes il y a des escaliers mais la vue tout en haut en vaut le detour.
Very chilled place , staff great and Daniela the manager very friendly, breakfast was great, a lot of variety.
The steps are very steep. Not great for older people but I guess a good exercise.
This boutique hotel was just charming! Prior to my arrival, every time I had questions, Daniela was responsive; the same was true while in country. The location was excellent. The owner (Daniela) and the staff were incredibly attentive and informative. Private tours were offered at a reasonable price—and each was excellent including the tour guide and driver. I arranged for a hotel transfer and it was smooth. As Daniela promised, a driver with my name met me upon arrival to Tanzania. The power in the area went out a couple of times during my visit (which was beyond the hotel’s control but impacted the hotel). Once was in the morning (but breakfast wasn’t really impacted except for the coffee machine wasn’t available due to the outage, so I had instant—which was just fine.) After returning in the evening, the power was out again, but the front desk kindly provided a lantern—all was good! Still due to any inconvenience, Daniela graciously provided a complementary hotel transfer upon departure. The breakfast (included in the rate) was excellent. The food was well prepared and delicious. My absolute favorite was the ginger tea which I often had more than once a day (over the course of my four night stay). On my final day, I was searching for a specific item to purchase before departing. Daniela graciously helped connect me to a nearby shop that had it. That shop owner was kind and his prices were reasonable. I highly recommended the Zanzibar Palace Hotel. My only hesitance was the price--which I thought was a little high for the more charming and rustic setting. That said, when you factor in the delicious breakfast (included in the rate) and the fact that Zanzibar is a high tourist destination, I am sure the cost is commensurate with other nearby hotels on the island. Thank you, Daniela and staff, for a lovely and memorable stay! Your personal touches and attentiveness truly made my stay and visit enjoyable!
Zanzibar Palace Hotel is actually really nice for a boutique hotel. Though it only has nine rooms, they are quite spacious and comfortable. Though very rarely power does go off so at night it's dark. But the staff provide lights so it is not pitch black. The food is nice as well. Though the breakfast pancakes were not my favourite ever. I recommend it to anyone who likes cozy spacious rooms and nice staff.
Staff were amazing, so helpful and always friendly, wanted to know how your day was and if you were enjoying yourself. Lovely historical building which really made you feel you were in Stone Town.
We knew there was no lift but really not prepared for just how tall some of the stairs were. If you have mobility difficulties please be aware and this probably isn’t the hotel for you. It is simply a feature of the property given its age.
