The Worst Resort Experience of Our Lives – Avoid at All Costs!” ⭐☆☆☆☆

We booked this resort with high expectations after reading positive reviews online, hoping for a peaceful holiday with our family and friends after a long flight. Unfortunately, what we experienced was shocking, unacceptable, and beyond belief.
A truly disturbing incident happened: because there weren’t enough glasses, one of our group members simply took 3 glasses from a table at the bar so we could share drinks. Out of nowhere, the bar manager suddenly rushed over, grabbed the 3 glasses, and smashed them violently on the table right in front of us — including small children who were terrified by what they saw!

Instead of calmly explaining the situation, the bar manager screamed angrily in Italian and ordered us to leave immediately. We were absolutely shocked and shaken by such aggressive and hostile behavior at a so-called luxury resort.

The next morning, we reported the incident to the hotel management, expecting professionalism, an apology, or at least an explanation. To our disbelief, the manager defended the staff, saying he acted this way because he was “very angry.” When we requested a formal apology, she avoided responsibility entirely and offered no solution, no compensation, and no respect.

This was supposed to be a place of relaxation and comfort, but instead, we were treated rudely, aggressively, and without dignity. The behavior of both the staff and management was completely unprofessional — it felt more like dealing with gangsters than hospitality workers.

If you value respect, safety, and peace of mind, do NOT stay here. There are many other resorts where guests are welcomed, respected, and treated with kindness. This place was an absolute nightmare — we will never return and strongly advise everyone to avoid it.

I have stayed at countless hotels around the world — probably close to 100 — but this was by far the worst, most horrifying experience I have ever had.
• The room was filthy, with a strong, unbearable stench coming from the bathroom. It was impossible to relax or feel comfortable.
• The bar staff’s behavior was shocking — they smashed glasses and dishes right in front of children and adults, creating a terrifying and chaotic atmosphere.
• While we were having dinner at the restaurant, a rat ran directly under our feet. This is not only disgusting but also a serious hygiene and health concern.
• When we reported these issues to the management, instead of apologizing or taking action, the staff became hostile, intimidating, and aggressive, making us feel unsafe and unwelcome.

Me and my 7 yo daughter had a wonderful one week of a summer holiday in Alma resort. Great food (many thanks to all kitchen crew), great location and nice sea. Great for kids with the playground and theater, and daily programs created by a professional, lovely and talented team. Special thanks to Veronica, Mario, David, Claudia and Giovanni, Wish you the best and thank you all for everything.

Very Very Very Good, delocious food, cleannes, nice pool, Very close to sea, we realy enjoied it. We Will return back here.

Die lage und der Strand top, wir haben leider eine Zimmer für Behinderte bekommen, sehr laut mit eine Kinder Spielplatz in der Nähe.

We went on holiday to the Alma Resort with our family of four for our first visit to Sardinia. I came across the resort on a travel agency website by chance, and at first I was sceptical because the price seemed too good to be true, especially considering the length of our stay and the prices at other resorts. However, after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I came to the conclusion that the resort would be OK.

I was wrong – the resort wasn't just OK, it was great!

It was great in every respect: the reasonable distance from Cagliari airport, the size of the resort, the cosiness and amenities of the rooms, the quality and variety of the food, the distance from the beach, the quality of the beach and the water, the absolutely amazing team of entertainers, bar staff, chefs, waiters, reception staff and cleaners — I could go on!

Of course, if you're looking for a luxury five-star hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant and exceptional service, this resort won't be right for you. But if you want to enjoy a beautiful holiday in a lovely setting at a reasonable price, I think Alma Resort is the right choice.

Excellent service with Angelo as a boss of restaurant, very professional, always checking if everything is okay. The food itself was our best experience in years of all-inclusive travel. Multiple seafood choices for lunch and dinner time. And the pasta... Excellent pasta, always 3 pasta options for lunch or dinner and variations of seafood on top of it. Great Italian coffee always possible to get with no extra fee. The breakfast was the weak spot. If u like sweat breakfast then no problem if u prefer nonsweat then there is not many choice. What I would see as an improvement for children is to have some small buffet afternoon. The lunch finished at 2 and dinner starts at 8. No problem to take away food from lunch or breakfast, but still. Some kind of afternoon small buffer would be appreciated. Eventhough we see some room for improvement for families I have to express that the quality and delicious food is really 5/5 rating.
Very friendly personal, excellent bar service with Nuomi and others. You always get the best vine and prosseco as a part of all-inclusive program with regular non alcoholic drinks in glass bottles no plastic, which is much appreciated as well. No difference between drinks for all-inclusive or regular paying customer.
Great children playground on backyard, sea 5 minutes far away. On this side of beach steapper climb into sea, the advantage is own deckchair with umbrella. Good evening animation program with Giordanka. Kids really enjoy the stay so did we. Friendly reception with Andreas, very good English to solve any issue, always willing to help. I hope I didn't forget anybody. As I wrote still some room for improvement but overall experience is 5/5. Thank you

Eine sehr schöne, gut gepflegte Anlage mit eigenen Liegen am Strand, reichhaltigem Frühstück, aufmerksamen Personal. Unser Zimmer war relativ frisch renoviert, sehr gepflegt. Auftretende Probleme wie dass Hotels.com,über die wir gebucht haben, die Info nicht ans Hotel weitergegeben haben, wurden schnell, unbürokratisch und im Sinne des Gastes gelöst. Das war absolut vorbildlich. Auch im Restaurant lief es genauso gut. Ich kann die Anlage nur empfehlen, Hotels.com hingegen absolut nicht

I stayed at Alma resort with my wife and my 3 children from July 3 to July 13 and it was a beautiful experience. The beach is wonderful and only 5 minutes walking distance from the structure. All the staff from the reception to the cleaning team was friendly and made us feel at home. Special thanks to Maitre Angelo, who leads the staff of waiters with professionalism and passion and always managed to fulfill our requests. Chef pasquale and his team prepare each day a different menu offering delicious choices for appetizers, main courses and desserts.
