Schweizerhof Swiss Quality Hotel

This is a very old hotel, small rooms. Only two restaurants are open, and they were understaffed. Breakfast was very basic, but it was good. We had one dinner in the dining room and it was not worth the price. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a very nice lake and Mountain View.

We had such a pleasant experience here. I celebrated my birthday with family and we all loved the location and amenities of this hotel. The staff was amazing I want to thank everyone for the kindness and support

Overall the property is good. Not sure the value proposition was met given the cost.. My room heating system failed so it was always too warm. I had to open the window. I reported the problem but was not offered another room. Room was not as nice as photos or the description. Views from the room were amazing. Ski related amenities are great. Location is perfect. Great breakfast buffet.

Aside from the hotel being beautiful and having an old, classic charm to it, our stay was made much more pleasant by Giulia at the front desk. She took such good care of us and really made the experience much better. She helped us find restaurants to visit and gave us many suggestions for things to do.

Great staff, very knowledgeable and friendly

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Staff were multilingual and understood your concerns. The breakfast was excellent. A chef was available if you wanted eggs cooked to order.

Perfect location and very accommodating staff

Although the premises are not new, the friendliness is the staff (front desk especially) makes the hotel a must. Besides, the location is ideal

The Staff greated us right away removed our bags from the car then put the car in there private car park.

Great location with fabulous views of the lake. The rooms are dated and did not provide a nightstand with USB charging. Breakfast was ok.

Beautiful regal type hotel which overlooks the lake. Staff took and parked car, got a free upgrade to a much bigger room. All very nice. Hotel was very quiet with hardly any guests . Seems like Summer months are painfully quiet with very little going on in the town and lots of shops and restaurants closed for the summer months. No complaints about hotel whatsoever but wouldn’t rush back to Zermatt.

Clean, nice, superior service.
Old school in a good way (pen and paper checkin, physical key, etc), but also a little dated - the room could use some TLC. Our mini suite was very spacious and clean. Lake view was fantastic! Free mini bar. Bathroom was good, but no toiletries! Only one do-it-all “soap”. If it was for about half a price that I paid, I’d give it a better score, but I expected more.

The staff was very friendly, and the room was spacious with a nice view. It was convenient to the train station as well. The lobby and restaurants are gorgeous!

Noisy location on the mountain side (room 210)….but convenient area of town. TV in room didn’t work. Modern weight scale in bathroom didn’t work. There isn’t a pool. Shower head kept falling off it’s mount.

By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The location in the middle of town was perfect for getting around. The service was beyond top notch and the view of the city/lake was unforgettable. Even the breakfast was phenominal.
