Consistently excellent stays and a friendly staff: I love this place
Pros:

I’ve been staying at the Fairfield Inn DuBois for years and years as I have family in the area. My stays are universally excellent. The hotel is seriously clean, quiet, well-maintained, consistently comfortable, brilliantly located off the I-80 exit 101 on your way to everywhere, and the staff is super friendly and professional. The free breakfast is consistently good. There is a nice restaurant/gastropub Station 101 steps away from the front door. If there is one thing they could improve on, it is this: to have at least one electric charging station. Two would be amazing. It’s somewhat surprising they don’t have chargers considering their location only moments off the interstate. But that’s a small thing as the Fairfield Inn DuBois is top notch.

Pros:

The beds in the room were so squeaky as well as the bathroom door, so every time someone got up to go to the bathroom it woke everyone up. The breakfast is a 2/10. No single serve packets of salt, no straws, everything just not laid out well and options are not good. I would not stay here again as the overall quality was just lacking.

Where is Dubois?
Pros:

There is nothing around Dubois. This hotel is probably the best in “the area” but that doesn’t say much. Can definitely use some upgrades. Stayed here years ago and not much has changed. The rooms are tired. The breakfast is a typical Fairfield but can be cleaned up a bit. Lobby is small. The restaurant next door is great and 1 minute away. The parking is difficult and always full lot. Front desk staff didn’t recognize much for Marriott Platinum. Weight room / gym was teeny and almost inoperable. Hotel can use a weight lift.

3am snow plows
