It was wonderful from start to finish wonderful staff
This was my 2nd time staying there amazing both times staff is amazing I can't wait to go back
Friendly staff, nice quiet suite, good value for money
Cresta Sprayview is a peaceful, well appointed hotel with impeccable hospitality. Situated in leafy gardens and with an expansive pool area it is a joy to return to after a day of exploring and enjoyable to spend a restful afternoon near the pool. It has a delicious onsite restaurant and the bar offers a great drinks list. The room is spacious, beautifully clean and has crisp linens on the bed. It is a safe and welcoming sanctuary for exploring this breathtaking region of Zimbabwe, with attentive and thoughtful staff
Staff were excellent. Shower was not warm at all.
Great airport transfer $15 per pax and city transfer as needed.
Breakfast buffet was fine. Dinner buffet was $20 but not very exciting.
Only issue we had was that you can't walk from this resort to any other restaurant. Too dark at night.
The Cresta Sprayview met our expectations for quaint lodging and excellent service. The restaurant staff were exceptional and the grounds were spacious and very well kept. We were graciously greeted by every staff member every time we passed by. The front desk staff were on top of everything, professional and courteous.
While the property is a bit older, it was very clean. The bed and bedding has been updated so it was very comfortable.
The blocks of rooms were spreadout over the large property so it was quite private and quiet.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially a young man named Blessing. His service was exceptional.
The pool area was large. Maybe a few more sunloungers were needed.
Good value, friendly staff, clean and pod breakfasts.
This property has truly expired from its hay day. its very sad to watch. The breakfast for $25usd is inedible and very limited if you have dietary requirements.
The staff are not very welcoming and only tend to white guests and the rest of us ignored.
Our aircon was not working and we had to complain like 4 times and still was not fixed. unacceptable.
It was a very disappointing stay at his hotel that used be a top hotel 6 years ago. They should really look at what other hotels are doing in the area and invest in customer service training and upgrading their rooms and amenities.
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone
Nice quiet hotel with friendly staff and efficient service
Great staff especially Denny and the hotel driver. Food in restaurant good. Overall feels a little tired accommodation but a/c and rooms kept clean and comfortable.
It was amazing returning to Sprayview with our four children since our last visit back in 2002, when we did not have children. The area is walking distance to the Vic Falls and offer great accommodation villas with outdoor seating space. Parking space is available as well. Food was amazing and hotel staff were good.
Basic accommodation, good service, very good driver on shuttle to town/falls
Pleasant Stay with courteous, attentive staff
Great staff and location
Everything was great we will go back at some stage
Nice hotel suited us for our stay. Water waste is not good, you have to run the water for a long time to get hot water.
Hotel Shuttle to the falls good service.
Great stay. Friendly and engaging staff, especially with our 10 yesr old. Comfortable rooms, though one of the two bedrooms had a much stronger A/C unit. Solid restaunrant and bar, though a little slow. Breakfast was not included with our booking and the price was much higher than I would have expected. Centrally located. Free shuttle to Victoria Falls every hour. The shuttle driver was the star of our stay.
No hot water in room.
This is our first time visiting the African Continent. And since we decided to fly in a day before our Safari Tour started (so we can get settled in and rested before we started our Safari adventure), we had to book a place to stay for one night. And I’m really quite glad that we chose Cresta Sprayview. The staff (especially the restaurant waiter who interacted with the most) set the tone for our overall experience in Zimbabwe. They were incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating. And went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was good also. If you get the chance, I recommend trying the oxtail stew (a traditional African dish/recipe). And the Sprayview signature cocktail. You won’t be disappointed.
The hotel itself is a bit older and dated, could use some updates for sure. Both AC’s in our room made periodic clicking sounds what made sleeping a bit challenging. And the hot water in the bathroom took quite a while to come through. Otherwise though, the beds were comfortable, the place felt very safe. Might not be a place a would choose for an extended stay. But for a one night stay to relax and settle in before starting our Safari adventure (we stayed at Bayete Guest Lodge nearby which was booked by our tour operators - highly recommended for extended stays), Cresta was more-than-adequate.
