Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel
Pros:

The service, cleanliness and convenience to the main road. It's further out from the JB customs checkpoint but it's nearer to Toppen Shopping Centre and Aeon Tebrau.

The Chinese Restaurant's (Wan Li) food was also great. Recommended to order their Codfish with dangui sauce. Dim sum was also good even though it wasn't the dim sum buffet.

Cons:

Room lights could be slightly brighter at night as the drawing of the curtains reduces the light significantly.
