Everything except the guy at the front desk and housekeeping only changed my towels once. Had to ask for towels. Room didn't get cleaned my entire stay there. I finally got towels my last day after I said I was gonna call corporate.
Housekeeping
Room was clean.
No carts in the lobby, staff was not helpful with check in or check out process
Not able to order from restaurant downstairs for pickup before 8pm.
Could order appetizers only if you went down the bar
The location was close to many things (places to eat, stores, the conference center). I like that there was a bar/restaurant in your hotel. The gym was a great size!
We wish the staff were a little warmer.
Omitted
Careless room preparations. At 10:28 pm all the lights went out. Not knowing about master switches, I had a difficult search for the answer. Also, early early am the alarm clock rang. I didn’t set it.
Housekeeping needs training. The stay wasn’t what I expected based on the price.
Nice size room & comfortable bed.
Price was high.
No continental breakfast.
Reserved a king accessible suite & given a king suite not accessible. We made it work.
New and clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub.
I loved the atmosphere, very quiet rooms, the swimming pool was a perfect temperature. Clean, everything was clean.
Maybe the rooms were starting to look a little bit out dated? Like the carpeting. And the only thing about the swimming pool was the floors looked a little slimy. Probably needs a good scrub.
Loved the bunk beds for the kids and the king suite set up
I wasn’t a fan of the small sofa bed
Close to events and shopping
No free breakfast
Hot tub
Loud drinking peaple at the pool and kids thowing toys eveywhere hiting the window
Clean room, terrible bed average Holiday Inn.
I was in town to support a coworker who was grieving the loss of her son, and unfortunately, the experience at this property added additional stress to an already devastating situation.
The mother of the deceased child’s mother, sister-in-law, and infant grandchild were locked out of their room. Despite the urgency, no one was able to assist in regaining access, as the manager could not reach maintenance. By the next morning, the room was still inaccessible, leaving the grandmother unable to retrieve her clothing and, more critically, her medications. This delay prevented the family from preparing in time for the funeral service scheduled that morning.
The situation escalated to the point where both the fire department and police were called. The fire officials determined the issue was caused by a faulty bolt, and the fire department had to force the door open. Even after this ordeal, the manager, Lee, stated that the guest would still be charged for the room—despite the fact that it was not usable for the duration of their stay.
There was additional concerns.. but, this experience was deeply disappointing since this brand promotes family, value, comfort and hospitality.
Everything was exceptional. Only downside was we weren’t told what time breakfast hours were. We checked in late and I didn’t think to ask so we actually paid for breakfast but missed it. It ended at 9 and we came down at 9:20.
This is an aging hotel and my first bad experience started with their reservation number and continued with the front desk. I was at a conference and I was not given the conference rate. The only valuable feature about this hotel was the indoor pool and spa with workout room and on my second day it was closed for maintenance. They have a in house restaurant which is very pricey and does not match with the quality of the rooms. They was not breakfast included so between the condition of the room and no extra features available on my stay. It was way overpriced
