Our happy holiday.
Pros:

It's in a fantastic location, Overstrand, the staff were friendly, I can't fault the place and will always recommend the White Horse. This is our second time here, we stayed here in 2018 .

An unpretentious local with excellent rooms, meals, and friendly, helpful staff.
Pros:

Comfortable, spacious room, full of light. Handy for the beach. Dinner and breakfast both excellent and staff extremely helpful. Also dog-friendly.

Pros:

Amazing location, super lovely people, super dog friendly, great food - especially breakfast

Cons:

Quite a lot of stairs to our room on the second floor - but not a problem for us

Very clean. Good food.

Cons:

Staff not particularly attentive. Booked a table for dinner when we arrived but it wasn't added in the booking sheet at the restaurant.

Pros:

Close to the beach

Cons:

We were not made to feel welcome from check in to leaving, all the staff give the bear minimum service, busy or not no excuse for being abrupt in a customer facing role. We were stuck up the top of the building with our dog so not convenient, lots of stairs too so not for elderly humans or dogs. This is not mentioned anywhere when booking. I would not bother going back.

Cons:

I found the bed too small for 2 people, which made sleeping difficult and uncomfortable. On our last day we planned a relaxing walk and a quiet afternoon in the pub garden. Unfortunately, a group holding a funeral wake arrived. Not wanting to be involved, we checked out 1 day earlier than planned. This is not the fault of the funeral party. The pub management should have advised us, and we could have planned our day differently.

Handy for exploring Cromer
Pros:

Breakfast was good, good selection of coffee/tea etc in the room, our room was comfortable.

Cons:

The beds we had (2 small singles) were really uncomfortable, tbh the only bad thing.

Pros:

The location and the staff, the meals were lovely

Cons:

We never had our room cleaned, being on the top floor they need to put fans in, I did not sleep because of the stifling heat
