Amigo Plaza

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I was happy to see it was still the same good place as back in 2016. The staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are simple but clean. To reach the beach it´s about 2-3 minutes walk. The room and the pool area look exactly as pictures on the booking site. Overall, once again a good experience.

A basic budget hotel, ideal for backpackers or people on a tight budget, room is smallish but has a comfortable bed and a sunny balcony. the rooms could do with a spruce up and are a little dated, the corridors are a bit dark and dingy. breakfast was extra, but cheap and very limited in choice. there is a decent small swimming pool at the back of the hotel. the hosts were friendly and helpful enough.

The hotel can may be provide their guests with a water kettle, we had to buy our own. Its not kid friendly though the staff were helpful. My son loved the pool

Charmigt litet hotell (22 rum) med trevlig och serviceminded personal. Rummen är ganska små, men syftet med vistelsen var inte att vara på rummet så det gjorde ingenting.

Städning varje dag och lättare frukost kan beställas på hotellet (ingår inte). Stort! minus var att det inte fanns något kylskåp på rummet. Dock erbjöds vi att hyra in oss i hotellets kylskåp för 150 RS/dygn...vilket inte var aktuellt.

Vi stannade i två veckor och bodde i rum 208 som var in mot pool området (som var rent och fräscht). Gatan utanför är ganska trafikerad så det var skönt att slippa höra trafiken och skällande hundar på mornarna. Via en genväg till stranden så tar det cirka 2-3 minuter att nå den. I närheten av hotellet finns det en wineshop, restauranger, Himalaya butik mm. Till Colva Beach road tar det cirka 4-5 minuter.

First & foremost I would like to say that I found the owner, management team, the 5 cleaning ladies and two boy helpers very professional, extremely friendly and very helpful when help was needed. Without a doubt it was very good value - there is a good breakfast menu and snacks until 4.0pm at very cheap prices. You can have these in your room or at pool side. The pool is very nice. The rooms overlooking the pool make for a very quiet stay. The hotel's location is just a couple of minutes from the beach and the same from the restaurants and bars. Colva is a vibrant resort at night and exudes a nice 'Indian ' flavour. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff.
I was lucky enough to have perhaps the best room- No 210 - and you can have your room cleaned daily with fresh towels if you so wish.
To conclude , whilst it is not 5 Star, for all the above reasons I would without a doubt highly recommend a stay at this hotel - Thank you Amigo Plaza.

Facilities are limited , comfort needed to be compromised . Big plus is the staff .. Very hospitable .. Very helpful ..

Fine hotel. Good location. Relatively clean. It was ok, but nothing special.

staff is very cooperative. room was good. but you have to wait fir morning tea because it is available after 08.00a.m..

Electricity goes off quite frequently. Though the hotel has generator. But it does not run always.

It was a family outing . The hotel rooms is newly renovated and spacious.The housekeeping was not upto the make but the other staffs where helpful.The beach is very close there's lot of nice food joints. Overall a nice place value for money will visit again.

Amigo Plaza is an excellent hotel for budget conscious customers. The staffs are excellent and services are great. Rooms are clean and cozy. A very good experience during my stay with family and parents.

The upkeep can be improved. Helpful staff. Close to beach, restaurants and public transport point.

Ett hotell som är bra på många sätt.Rent ,nära stranden och nära till restauranger och shopping.Men madrasserna i sängarna var stenhårda och obekväma att ligga på.Frukosten var ok.Personalen mycket var mycket vänlig och hjälpsam.Så med bättre madrasser återkommer vi gärna.

Lovely hotel, great staff, who are really friendly, I thought the bed was hard and when I told the receptionist they put another mattress on top straight away, they were brilliant. Hotel is 2 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the centre of Colva where the bars etc are. the shower is great always hot and it was powerful. We never heard any noise at all in this hotel from other guests. We have stayed in hotels all over goa and this is our favourite.

We had a really nice time at Amigo Plaza. We were there for two nights with a pool facing room - I was so pleased when I walked in! It is only about 5 minutes, if that, to Colva Beach. The accommodation is on a side street off the road to the beach carpark and shops. The staff were great, they let us check in a bit early, and had everything on for us when we entered.

Stay at Amigo Plaza is a satisfying experience. Hotel staff were really friendly and cooperative.
