Chi Samui Resort

The room was great. Comfortable bed and sofa. The pool was clean and well kept - loved a good swim. The breakfast had a good selection and the staff were super helpful. I’d stay here again in a heart beat.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect of this hotel, but it won me over after a few days. The hotel is lovely and picturesque and the staff were friendly and helpful, but it is more remote than I expected. It is at the end of a long dead-end street. There are no restaurants nearby and it is a 10 minute walk to the main street. So, you are left taking 300Baht Grab rides to Fisherman's Village, or eating at the hotel most of the time, which was fine - the food was tasty and the breakfast buffet had good selections. We even took a Thai cooking class at the hotel (with a guided trip to the Big Buddha and local market included) which was absolutely wonderful. The pool does get busy so grab your seat early if you want to lounge.

The highlight was access to the Chi Beach Club which is right on the water. We took the resort shuttle and made reservations at the Beach Club on two separate days - it was so enjoyable we had to go twice! The vibe is luxe and stylish, its family friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious.

I think if we experienced just the resort we might have felt isolated and removed from the action (which is great if that is what you are looking for!). But the resort plus the beach club gave us a wonderful well-rounded experience of this part of Koh Samui

Property is nice but immediate surrounding area not so great. Most of the staff are wonderful but one guy who works at the restaurant was extremely rude and disrespectful

Chi Samui is a lovely resort. My room was very nice. It’s very clean. The sauna is fabulous, just had to ask to have it turned on. The staff was helpful and kind. The pool and floaties are nice. The pool was quite warm. The food and drink is good, it does get expensive but the 7/11 is about a 10 minute walk. The Chi Samui Beach Club is beautiful with places to chill around the pool or relax on a chaise one the beach.

Beautiful property. I really appreciate the taxi service they provide. Definitely will be returning. Breakfast was great!!

Beautiful hotel in tranquil setting in Bophut, very chilled a short walk to local restaurants and bars. The hotel provides yoga and sound meditation classes, a free shuttle to their beach club and a fantastic breakfast!

The staff at Chi are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have all you need for your stay. Special shout out to Panda for all her help and recommendations during my stay 😊

Just note the hotel is a little out of the way so is perfect for a chilled stay and close to the beach, shops and restaurants, if you want to go further it’s easy to use a moped or get taxis via grab!

Would recommend Chi to everyone!

Staff were all lovely. Property was stunning.
Couldn’t use the pool as it was out of action which was a shame as that was one of the reasons we booked, it’s a beautiful pool area. Would have liked to spend more time there. Very handy for airport and exploring the town. Would defo stay again.

Chi Samui resort has been a wonderful place to stay in Thailand Koh Samui. Me and my partner spent my birthday out here and they couldn’t have done more they surprised me with a birthday cake and them singing and a birthday message on the hotel bed!
Ram, Neung and Naing couldn’t have done more for us making our experience here the best and we will be visiting again!

Highly recommend! We had a great stay, this was made especially special by the accommodating and friendly staff, Ram, Naing and Neung , they were fantastic throughout our stay, helpful, kind and hard working, thank you for such a great stay!

i believe it was rated a 9.4 out of 10 on hotels.com. well, it was NOT a 9.4. The room was nice but the kitchen was old. the bathroom shower was tiny, the entire floor got wet every time i took a shower because these was no shower door. the wifi in the room was very good but the minute you stepped outside of your room it was basically non existent. the food was good but very exprensive. $21 US for a burger. the pool was nice and big. the gym was ok but very hot. it had a glass ceiling so it was basically a sauna. i stayed for 2 1/2 weeks so i really got to know the property well. would i go back again ? yes but not for so long. 3 or 4 days max

We like the garden pool access. The breakfast was very good as well. The ataff was very hospitable.

Great place to stay for a wedding

We are delighted to spend our vacation at this wonderful hotel once again. We wish you the best of luck and many more guests throughout the year. The restaurant overlooking the pool serves delicious dishes that are an explosion of flavors. They also have a dry and steam sauna, and the surrounding area is surrounded by pure nature not far from the shops. Thanks for everything!

Safe and quiet

This was our second stay in Chi Samui so I’ve scored it to cover both stays covering two months.
With a long stay that is were you get the value for money the price drops significantly.

The rooms are good, and modern we had both the garden room and a suite. They just have tea coffee etc and two water bottles however no plates or cutlery etc if you were to buy from the 7/11 store about 1/2 mile away. Beds are very large and comfortable they kindly added a topper for our bed for extra softening, great service.

Staff are perfect, very helpful and most of all welcoming, and engaging with customers. 6/5 for staff if I could.

Now for hopefully overall constructive feedback. It is advertised as a relaxing, yoga, spa type hotel however the second time was not like as the website “chilled out atmosphere”. Young families with children playing was nice to hear however many times kids being left to run around and jump in the pool is not relaxing. Also lots of people smoking around the pool which was very strong smelling on many occasions. Finely the food and drinks are very expensive. 200+ bahts for a standard cappuccino and 150 for bottle of beer given the local prices even in beach clubs was too much. For a 4 star hotel with 5 star pricing I’m expecting a side biscuit with my coffee or local snacks served with drinks on a wooden platter for that price. More value could be added here.

Overall not bad place just could be better in my simple minded opinion.

I had an amazing stay at Chi Resort! The atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to unwind. I especially loved the yoga class, which was both relaxing and energizing—such a great way to start the day. The pool was another highlight, with stunning palm tree, good vibes and the perfect temperature for a refreshing swim.

Will be back again!

It’s not a beachfront hotel but makes up for that with stunningly comfortable modern and well kept rooms .
We are in room 56 which has a bedroom, kitchen and lounge room the opens up to private patio steps from a large pool .
Around the pool is the eating area, covered relaxing areas and massive deck loaded with beach chairs .
Mrs Karson the manager makes it clear from the start if you need something and they can do it they will and they did .
Her attention to guests is something you will not get at the busy beach front hotels.
You definitely don’t feel like you’re in a hotel room here and the beach is a 10 min walk or there is a shuttle at your service which can be booked on their app.
Put all this together with 2 saunas a small gym and great staff it’s a winner here and far cheaper than most hotels of a similar standard .
We go in to town for lunch and a massage and are so comfortable here you don’t feel the need to rush out anytime.
I also found a serious gym around the corner for those who like to go harder and it’s $200 baht a day and 10 min walk around the corner.
Overall we are here for a week and I feel like it was a great holiday experience and choice . Great Boutique hotel!

One thing to improve on is gym maintenance as three of the five exercise machines were out of order.
