Sun City Hotel

Love it , price is reasonable. Over all very good

Booking and reception experience were the highlight of this stay. We were allocated room 701 which had great ocean front views however that is where the positives end.

We were able to access the room via sliding a credit card or piece of cardboard through the door jam and slipping the lock. The door was broken. The room safe did not work and the toilet and vanity sink both had water running out of them onto the bathroom floor which we could not stop.

The towels, hand towels and bath mat were all covered in what appeared to be oil stains. Lastly the breakfast consisted of a half cooked one egg omelette with a 3 day old Banh Mi and a small bottle of water. No juice or coffee.

Could not recommend this property to anyone.

The room was okay but ours was situated near the lift, which kept on being super noisy all night long. The staff seemed indifferent and the breakfast was underwhelming. Our conclusion is that you can probably do better hotel wise. On the very same street there are a plenty of other hotels worth checking out. Location is great but surroundings are very much geared towards the Russian demographic!

Probably the best feature of the Sun City Hotel in Nha Trang is it's location. There are about five other hotels on the same road though so it's not an exclusively excellent location. On it's road are many services all in close proximity, including restaurants, shops, massage parlors, etc. The staff are competent and willing to make effort to please. The room was a bit small and has the glass window to the toilet, disconcerting for Westerners (no on wants to be observed in their private moments). The pool was small, with just a couple uncomfortable metal lounge chairs, not really enticing, however, the view from the pool was wonderful. The breakfast was average although they had a wide variety of unusual foods. I'd have to say that although it can be considered worth the money, there are better choices. DRC

Hotel is within walking distance from the beach and night market which is awesome if you are in Nga Trang for a short period of time.

Breakfast is fare more okay that what I have expected- I like the verieties of options.

I appreciate the gesture given by the hotel staffs for surprising our friend with a birthday cake, may be simple to others but this gesture made us all very happy especially our friend and definitely gave us a positive impression about the hotel.

Definitely recommended.

ps. they have a nice pool area.

the hotel is located in an ideal location, walking distance from the beach, and massage spas and restaurants right outside. the room itself was nice, clean and spacious. i had no complaints.

The hotel is located in a lane and you could miss it on your first trip there. There are also many hotels located in that lane. There are good seafood restaurants around 1 km of the hotel The prices are a bit on the high side.

Pro
1) Walking distance to Beach, Night Market and eatery (eatery right in front of hotel)
2) Beers and food available opposite the hotel which are reasonable in price.
3) Mini market located within 5 mins walking distance.
4) Rooms and bathrooms are clean with the usual amenities (coffee making, complimentary water, toothbrush/paste, soap, etc)
5) Safe is available in the room.
6) The receptionist are very helpful despite the limited knowledge of spoken english).
7) Breakfast is good with many varieties
8) Good view of the sea on the rooftop

Cons
1) No view from the rooms
2) Located in a lane. May be difficult to locate it for the first time.

Overall - A good stay. Will stay there again.

The room is clean and tidy, the staff friendli and helpful, from the pool at the roof top you have a wonderful view over the beach and to the island with the Vinpearl funpark. The hotel is a bit hidden in a little street, but easy to find. The breakfast buffet has all it takes.

Easy access to rent scooter/ motorbike from reception.
Able to leave bags with reception once you had checked out if leaving later that day.

The hotel was okay, clean, comfy, good location near both the beach and central nha trang. The staff weren't very service minded, but we were at least able to communicate with them properly which we've found not to be the case very often. Overall a decent hotel.

Close to the beach restaurants bars and everything you need. Just a very noisy hotel! Staff banging on your door to clean your room from 8am and guests shouting to each other across the corridor theres not much chance of a lie in! We stayed for 7 nights went for breakfast the first morning but never returned. Quite a few options just all cold and tough as if it had been there for hours and nothing fresh had been brought. They make you fresh omlets or eggs of your choice but put that much oil in the pan its all you can taste. So many amazing restaurants to try i wouldnt waste the time or the breakfast here. There are alot better hotels in the area for the same price. The room was fine clean comfy everything worked just everything else in the hotel wasnt great, i wouldn't stay again.

only complaint is with booking agent .expedia no details to me after the booking .[not even booking number .] hotel nwas very nice ,food at the door so to speak..beach very close and good swimming area [hotel has a good pool as well ]will return to sun ity again [different booking agent ] very happy with sun city hotel ..peter harris

L'hotel in se' è buono e vanta uno buona posizione di vicinanza dal mare e vicino la fermata autobus. La colazione a buffet è.anche buona con frutta riso uova ecc.. Tuttavia il personale dell hotel non é il massimo della cortesia. Siamo arrivati alle 6 del mattino e ci hanno fatto aspettare fino alle 14,00 per il check in sebbene abbiam potuto lasciare i bagagli nel hotel. Potevano fare un piccolo sforzo non dico alle 7,00 ma almeno un po' prima. Molto Fiscali. Tutto sommato buon hotel e pulizia non al top sebbene camere pulite nella norma e i complementary ogni giorno.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this hotel. Our requests were met efficiently with sincere friendly smiles. Upon our arrival my husband and I were met by beaming smiles and a refreshing drink of welcome. As our room was not quite ready we were invited to wait in the pool bar. A member of staff came to us to report our room was ready and to escort us directly to our room where we found our luggage already there.

A special thank you to Annie (Customer Relations) who always gave us good advice and assistance. We wish you well for your baby boy when he arrives and rest well.

The location of this hotel is really good; situated directly across the road from the Sailing Club and the beach. The Sailing Club is a popular venue for food, drink and music. The hotel has free sun-beds and towels on the beach available for hotel guests.

We highly recommend this hotel, the staff and the location.
