Friendly, family feel made our stay extra special and was excellent value

Breakfast was perfect for us - cooked to order and not massive, though enough that we didn’t want lunches during our stay

Homely and welcoming
Pros:

The hotel has a homely feel and it is like you are staying with friends in the country. The breakfast was freshly prepared and added to the notion that we were invited rather than paying guests. The lounge area with open fireplace next to the bar is a great spot for warming up and chatting with other guests.

Loved the old world wintery charm.

The house has such beautiful character, it was warm and cosy and the staff were friendly.

Lovely guest house, well worth a visit.
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely, staff were excellent, gardens were beautiful and the lounge was very cosy

Cons:

The bed was very fluffy but also bouncy, meaning that i was awoken every time my husband moved.

Very comfortable stay in a hotel with character.
Pros:

Hotel has a lovely comfortable feel. The staff are great particularly Meaghan on reception. Really enjoyed the breakfast each day. Lounge area with open fire is very cosy and the breakfast area is bright with a lovely view over the golf course. Dinner at the restaurant was also very good.
