Wonderful stay with outstanding breakfast service – special thanks to Giselda!
Pros:

I recently stayed at Scandic Ørnen in Bergen and was really impressed by the whole experience. The hotel is in a perfect central location, right next to the bus and train station, and the rooms are comfortable and quiet.
But what truly made my mornings special was the breakfast. The buffet is excellent with a great variety of fresh options, but the highlight was definitely Giselda. She welcomed every guest with such genuine warmth and a beautiful smile. She even remembered many people by name, which made everyone feel personally cared for. Her positive aura and friendly energy really set a lovely tone for the day.
It’s rare to experience service that feels so sincere and uplifting. Giselda (and the rest of the breakfast team) made a big difference and turned a good hotel into a memorable one.
Highly recommended – especially if you appreciate that extra human touch!

Ideal location
Pros:

ideal location just over the road from the busses/trans/trains few mins walk into the town.
To say was on a busy road was super quiet.
Bed wasn't the comfiest but ideal for the location

Service. Hadde forhåndsbestilt barneseng til dattra mi som er 1år. Hadde fått det godkjent og at det skulle være på plass når vi kom. Vi kom til hotellet 14:30, går opp til rommet og der er det ingen barneseng. Går ned og sier ifra, får beskjed om at det skal komme opp med senga med en gang. Må gå ned flere ganger og når kl var 19 så kom dem inn med seng som var gjesteseng og ikke til et barn som er 1år..... Må ned og si ifra og da kom dem barnesenga kl 19:30...... Aldri igjen at jeg booker noe opphold hos dere igjen..... Betaler så mye penger for at det skal være enkelt og lett også skal det være så vanskelig å sette fram en barneseng?

Frokosten var perfekt, dei rutinerte av personalet var veldig flinke å yte god service, vi fikk avtale ekstra omgang med frokost pga et arrangement vi måtte rekke, flott service!
Flott bad.

Cons:

Lite utvalg av tv kanaler. Vanskelig å sjekke inn.

Bad service.
Pros:

I had looked forward to bringing guests to stay at Scandic Ørnen in Bergen for Easter, and to our great disappointment the restaurant and bar was closed. If I had known this I would have chosen a different hotel. We've been to the restaurant before, and it was a reason we chose this hotel.
