Very convenient location. Our room had a great view over the Valparaiso. Large bathroom and very comfortable beds. The manager of the hotel Paola Sofia was super kind and helpfull. Amazing breakfast in lovely setiting and terace where you can spend all evening.

Charming spot in a great location to explore the town. Interesting decor and architecture of the hotel was charming and simple. Nice breakfast each morning plus a staff one every shift was superb. Valparaiso as a city takes a minute to understand “what it is” and once you do, you can really appreciate the charm. It’s cool, gritty, artsy, funky and uniquely charming all in one.

El lugar es ideal!! la habitación era perfecta, grande, limpia, funcional y con todo lo necesario. La ubicación del lugar era ideal, en cerro alegre pero en una zona tranquila y accesible. El personal muy atento y cercano.

La habitación se encontraba totalmente aparte del hotel, uno debía salir a la calle para ir a la habitación. Desayuno básico.

Wir hatten das Loft gebucht, dieses war ausserhalb des eigentlichen Hotels gelegen, direkt angrenzend an eine Bar, die am Freitagabend bis nach Mitternacht laute Musik laufen liess. Die Schallisolierung war so miserabel, dass trotz selbst mitgebrachten Ohropax bis etwa um 01:00 Uhr nicht an Schlaf zu denken war. Auch danach war es aufgrund des Strassenlärms zu laut, um komfortabel zu schlafen. Zudem verfügt das Loft nur über Tagesvorhänge, wodurch es die ganze Nacht sehr hell im Zimmer war. Wir würden das Loft nicht nochmals buchen.
Our wonderful stay at Casa Galos stands out for several reasons. First is the fantastic location near the top of Cerro Alegre, offering a stunning view of Valparaíso from the rooftop terrace. The ambiance of our room was stylish, well appointed, and thoughtfully laid out, with tall ceilings and plenty of natural light. Breakfast was a delight, with all the choices you could ask for to start your day exploring this memorable neighborhood. Finally, the staff were friendly and helpful — especially Florencia, who went above and beyond to help newcomers make the most of their visit. Casa Galos is easy to recommend to other travelers visiting Valparaíso.
