The price
My husband and I was visiting from Orlando, FL for the birth of our first grandchild (girl). We were exhausted when we arrived and. Andrea was very friendly and attentive. She was able to check us in and tell us about the area. I didn't even remembered that I had a membership account that needed activating. All this time I was making reservations with different Marriott hotels but not getting any rewards. Another young lady was able send ma an email with my membership number so I could complete activating my account and started getting points.
I absolutely love the 3:00 pm check in and 12:00 check out.

Breakfast options were great. Dining area was spotless, and staff were very friendly. Even people working on the grounds greeted us.
I didn't really like not being able to get to the breakfast area from Inside the hotel. If there was a way, we were not told about it.

The hotel was clean.
There was no one at the front desk. The sign said to use the phone to call front desk. It took me a minute to find the phone. It was not near the front desk. The tv in my room did not work. The front desk person did offer to change my room to a room with a working tv.

Poor lighting and security. Parking in the back of the building
The room was nice. The breakfast was okay. Only one choice of meat. I only saw sausage patties and sausage biscuits. Bacon could be anotherchice. Grits would be nice. Just like you had the oatmeal, you could have had girts also.
The side entrance wasn't close to an elevator. The desk clerk said it was, but it wasn't.
Landscaping was pretty. Grounds were clean, no litter. Pool looked small but clean area. Grills available to use with outdoor seating to eat a meal.
