Not clean. Needs updating.Someone was using a smoker on the porch which is a fire hazard. There was a bird’s nest outside our door so there was a lot of bird droppings. Towels are very old.

Pros:

The rooms are large and nice. The staff (except the owner) is very nice and helpful. The bed is comfortable. Plenty of towels. They also have a super cute dog, and the motel is dog friendly overall.

Cons:

The rooms are nice, but poorly maintained. Territory is run down- there is an abandoned car, and some random junk on the property. The owner is a super unpleasant person to deal with. Very disrespectful and rude.

Pros:

Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

They have a terrible bird problem. Droppings all over handrails and decking. I saw a big bag of bird seed so the staff must be feeding them. They have nests all over the sprinkler heads. Its gross and unhealthy.

My husband and I had a nice relaxing stay at Shore Stay Suites!
Pros:

The location is real convient to Cape Charles. This was our second stay here. It’s quiet and rooms are an efficiency .

Cons:

The bathroom light over the sink had two light bulbs out! Which made it a little difficult to see putting on makeup and styling hair.

Pros:

I’ve been staying at this accommodation for six years. It’s spacious, and the kitchen is clean and nice.

Cons:

For small-statured Asians, the bed is too high and the air conditioner is too loud, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
