Excellent location, friendly staff and a breakfast second to none.
Pros:

Well located and very beautifully styled close to Taksim. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really made you feel at home. We had access to the Executive Lounge and the host Saden was always on hand to see that you had what you needed. The breakfast was totally amazing and very fresh with lots of variety for every taste. The in-hotel hammam was large, clean and wonderful.

Extraordinary staff and wonderful stay (but bad management techniques).
Pros:

The staff of this hotel is its most valuable asset! Very kind and most attentive, they went out of their way for us! Many (many) thanks to the Guest Relations Team who made our anniversary celebration feel really special and also many thanks to everyone at breakfast, cleaning and the luggage service. Simply extraordinary!
I also loved the spa facilities, so big and meticulously clean! Would love the warm swimming pool being accessible longer than 22.00 pm though, as such a possibility exists in other luxurious hotels. But all in all, the hotel facilities are excellent. The location is also a big plus, as one is within a short walk from Taksim square and the Istiklal pedestrian street, full of shops, cafes and restaurants, always lively and feeling safe.

Cons:

1) Our room was supposed to have a Bosphorus view, (as advertised, when we booked it), but it only had a partial Bosphorus view, as we had to get out on the balcony or sit at the corner of the bedroom or the living room, in order to be able to see the sea. Thus the room description was inaccurate.
2) We were somewhat disappointed by the management marketing techniques. In my view, they are not oriented to creating happy returning customers. They offered a room upgrade, which was like if they were mocking us. They said, "we can offer you a room upgrade", (oh, that's very kind of you, thank you). "Normally it costs 600 euros extra per night, but for you it will only be 400 euros extra per night". The total room price for this "offer" was the price we saw at booking.com, had we chosen that room in the first place. Isn't that mocking when offered as a "room upgrade"? Another issue we resented was when we asked for a capsule coffee machine and they said we could have one only if we would pay 5 euros per coffee capsule (a brand we did not even like). I would rather they said that use of the coffee machine is for a daily fee, than require 5 euros per capsule.
The above remarks are based on facts and not mentioning them would give an inaccurate picture of our experience. Other people may be OK with them. In sum, we did have a wonderful stay, we enjoyed getting pampered by the exceptional hotel staff, we liked our spacious one bedroom apartment with the (actually partial) Bosphorus view and the great hotel facilities and location.
