Beste hotel in Groningen
Pros:

Alles! Wat een prachtige suite hadden wij! En als welkom champagne op de kamer, wauw! Echt alles aan onze deluxe suite was fanatastisch. Schoon, modern, verzorgd, het uitzicht. Personeel ook heel erg vriendelijk en meedenkend, snel in antwoorden vragen vooraf. Nu al heimwee!

Sehr schön mit ein paar Abstrichen
Pros:

Das Hauptgebäude liegt herrlich an der Gracht nahe der Brücke und in der Fußgängerzone. Die Zimmer verteilen sich aber auf mehrere Gebäude. Wir bekamen freundlicherweise ein Upgrate in eine Juniorsuite, die sehr großzügig war. In der Minibar gab es Wasser und Bier zur freien Verfügung. Sehr angenehm waren Bettbezüge, Bettdecke und Matratze.

Cons:

Die Juniorsuite war schön, lag aber direkt gegenüber von einem sterilen Gebäude, so dass der Blick auf Gracht und Stadt verstellt war. Die hoteleigenen Parkplätze befinden sich in einer Tiefgarage, eigentlich nah, mit dem Auto aber nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Das Frühstücksbüffet war übersichtlich und wurde in einem etwas ungemütlichen Café serviert.

Superfijn verblijf bij Miss Blanche op een perfecte locatie
Pros:

Miss Blanche heeft inmiddels een flink aantal panden in de binnenstad van Groningen, en ik verbleef in een tamelijk nieuw appartement in de Brugstraat. Het is een voortreffelijke ruimte met mooie woon/slaapkamer, toilet, badkamer, kitchenette en ruimte met was-/droogtrommel. Alles mooi afgewerkt en proper. Bed is perfect. Ontbijt bij De Sigaar is uitstekend verzorgd. Locatie is subliem: je staat meteen midden in de binnenstad, uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor ontdekkingen. Supermarkt aan de overkant, diverse restaurants en kroegen in de naaste omgeving. Geweldig adres !!

Espectacular
Pros:

El personal es muy amable. Aisha tuvo el gesto de hacernos un upgrade a la Suite Royal que es espectacular. Grandes vistas, espaciosa y llena de detalles. La ubicación es muy buena, cerca a restaurantes y tiendas y el parking a un par de minutos andando.

Cons:

La suite podría tener algo más de privacidad entre las habitaciones (poner una puerta en vez de las cortinas). Es una sugerencia.

We kregen zomaar een upgrade! Hadden suite geboekt maar kregen dus een penthouse. Heel veel ruimte en alles aanwezig

De ligging van het hotel

Cons:

Het is geen hotel met een gezellige lobby, maar een ‘balie’ waar je je sleutel pas ophaalt, om vervolgens naar een gebouw verderop te lopen waar de kamer zich bevindt. Dat viel tegen, niet warm en gezellig, maar onpersoonlijk en te duidelijk gericht op efficiënt. Bovendien is een kamer van ruim 230 euro per nacht dan wel ruim, maar sta je in een douche met douchegordijn. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding echt uit balans

Poor service and communication...and management doesn't care
Pros:

Hotel Miss Blanche is an AirB&B masquerading as a hotel. The 'hotel'[ is a series of building around the city centre. One office stays open during the day but not at night. Emails requesting help are answered hours later and the replies often do not address the matters at hand.

The website does not state that daily housekeeping is provided only at extra cost. When it was provided after asking, it was made out to be an important favour; misrepresentation on the site was never acknowledged. One day the suite was barely cleaned at all and management's response did not include an apology...or any effort to clean the dirty suite that day.

The same experience with housekeeping was seen with air con that did not work: A report by email, a delay in response, and a refusal to take responsibility. The general manager stated it worked when he checked, obviously doubting my report. There seems to be an unwillingness to take customer at their words.

The 'hotel' is well located but so are many other real hotels in the city centre. Particularly for business travelers, better to give Hotel Miss Blanch a miss and stay somewhere where there is a commitment to customer service and where guests are treated pleasantly.
