We loved this place! Very special!
Pros:

The Saint John Hotel is a gem! The place is impeccably clean and well-appointed, quiet, and as mentioned in other comments, the breakfast is a delicious feast.
Although it is in an unusual part of town, that was irrelevant for us. We had a rental car and did not feel unsafe parking it.

Melhor café da manhã de todos hotéis que ficamos na Turquia.
Funcionários extremamente preocupados com nosso bem estar.
Limpeza dos quartos excepcional, eu nunca tinha visto algo igual, nem no Brasil.
Área externa, perto da piscina, onde pudemos ficar tomando vinho e conversando. Quando chegava algum fumante por perto, os funcionários pediam para o fumante sentar mais afastado da gente, pois não éramos fumantes. E isso é algo muito legal e importante, pois na Turquia pode-se fumar em qualquer lugar, inclusive ambientes fechados.
O hotel também fica muito bem localizado e silencioso.
Fomos a pé para Ephesus (aprox 3 km). O Centro (com lojas e restaurantes) fica a cerca de 3 ou 4 quadras, muito fácil para ir almoçar ou jantar. O museu e as ruínas da Basílica de São João também são possíveis de se fazer a pé (cerca de 1 km).

Cons:

A rua onde o hotel fica parece estranha, mas a cidade é bastante segura, e fica muito próximo do centro. Voltávamos depois de escurecer e sempre foi tranquilo.

Great location as a base for Ephesus, Kusadasi and Sircine
Pros:

This a is a cute boutique hotel in Selcuk which is only a 5 min drive from the ancient town of Ephesus. You needed a car to be here to drive to Kusadasi or Sirince for sightseeing. Well with it.

Sanctuary in Selcuk
Pros:

Great location with free parking out the front. Cool, unheated pool and awesome breakfast. Rooms were very quiet and comfortable and staff were very friendly. We'd definitely stay here again!

Lovely family owned small hotel that makes you feel very welcome
Pros:

The breakfast was lovely, typical Turkish breakfast and our location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Close to Ephesus and cafe's and eateries in a quiet backstreet. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful swimming pool !!

Peccato essere rimasti solo una notte!

Piccolo hotel molto carino e curato, un luogo perfetto dove soggiornare per visitare l’antica città di Efeso. Camera non grandissima (la nostra al piano terra di fronte alla bella piscina) , ma molto ben arredata e funzionale. Personale ospitale, gentile ed efficiente. Oltre a tutto questo colazione fantastica. Moltissima scelta sia dolce che salata (dolci buonissimi!) La migliore colazione che ho trovato in 15 giorni di viaggio on the road per la Turchia! Bravi!

Pros:

This quiet hotel is beautifully decorated in Turkish style. The pool is very pleasant to swim in after a long day sightseeing and the breakfast buffet is stunning and delicious. It's an oasis in an otherwise crumbling and dusty part of town, but that made it feel like a hidden gem. WiFi quite sluggish though, but that might have just been my room.
