Pros:

We had an amazing stay at Château de Perreux. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful gardens and peaceful nature, yet only a few minutes from Amboise and the Loire Valley's main attractions. It is the perfect base for exploring the region.
A special thank you to Olivier, who made us feel welcome even before we arrived. He sent us a very helpful SMS with clear driving instructions, local tips, and excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. His advice made our trip even more enjoyable and showed genuine care for his guests.
The private suite with the jacuzzi and sauna was exceptional, the château is beautiful, and the entire experience was relaxing and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue realmente decepcionante. Habíamos reservado tres noches, pero decidimos marcharnos después de la primera, asumiendo la pérdida de más de 700 €, porque el alojamiento no tenía nada que ver con la imagen que transmite.

La habitación presentaba un estado de limpieza muy deficiente: suciedad en la ducha y el inodoro, telarañas en las cortinas y una auténtica invasión de hormigas que terminaron incluso dentro de nuestra maleta. En las zonas exteriores había mesas y sillas rotas e inutilizables, dando una sensación de abandono total.

Otro aspecto muy negativo es que prácticamente nunca hay personal. No encontramos a nadie en recepción, ni personal de limpieza ni empleados del hotel durante nuestra estancia. Si necesitas cualquier cosa, tienes que llamar a un número de teléfono. La piscina, además, está separada del edificio principal y hay que caminar unos diez minutos atravesando una zona boscosa para llegar hasta ella, algo que no se explica claramente.

Hemos estado alojados en otros castillos y edificios históricos, por lo que entendemos que puedan tener ciertas limitaciones. Sin embargo, la antigüedad del edificio no justifica la falta de mantenimiento, la suciedad ni la ausencia de servicio.

Y una última mención: hay que felicitar al fotógrafo que realizó las imágenes para Booking, porque hizo un trabajo espectacular. Consiguió mostrar un hotel que, lamentablemente, no se corresponde con la realidad que encontramos al llegar. La diferencia entre las fotografías y el estado real del alojamiento fue enorme.

No recomendaríamos este hotel. Por el precio que cobran, la experiencia está muy lejos de lo que uno espera.

Uma autêntica experiência japonesa em pleno Viseu.

Adorei tudo: a simpatia do staff, a sensação de estar imersa no espírito japonês e a atenção aos detalhes. Todos os hóspedes deixam os sapatos à porta e circulam pelo ryokan de pantufas e quimono, o que contribui para uma experiência autêntica.

O SPA é ótimo, as camas são muito confortáveis e o pequeno-almoço tradicional é excelente, com ovos mexidos preparados no momento.

Não experimentámos o pequeno-almoço japonês, mas também está disponível mediante o pagamento de um valor adicional.

So much character, so friendly and so comfortable.
Pros:

This is a beautiful place with such great character. Lots to explore around the Chateau and in the general area. Such a peaceful place too. The staff were great and made us really feel at home. Breakfasts were excellent. We would have loved to have stayed longer. I told the owner that it was not like other hotels because it wasn't perfect to the point that it felt artificial...it was just right!

Als je van slapen in een fantastische locatie houdt, is dit er zeker eentje!

Fantastische locatie om te overnachten. De historie van het kasteel komt echt naar je toe.

Je had echt de auto nodig om naar een restaurant te gaan. Is eigenlijk niet een klacht, maar een informatie.
