LIkes it so much I stayed an extra four days !
Pros:

The chateau is rural so very quiet. BReakfast was excellent with items sourced locally. The staff was very helpful with advice in restaurants and how best to enjoy the area. I stayed in both the main chateau and their newer additions which are carved out of the rock. Very unique. Able to go go walk through the bush or swim in heated pool. ALl was great!

Cons:

Only issue was a road closure near by that Google Maps had difficulty with. NOt something within the chateaus control. THey did email prior to arrival with alternate directions to enter .

Bel endroit mais désuet et un peu de décevant

La vue sur le parc depuis la chambre, tres bon petit déjeuner avec produits locaux, accueil du personnel agréable et partage de bonnes adresses (visite et restaurant) et excellent massage fait par Isabelle qu’on recommande sans hésiter !

Cons:

La salle de bains vétuste, literie pas confortable (oreillers), vieilles tentures décrochées, restaurant fermé et pas de possibilité de boire un verre en terrasse (apéro par exemple), salle du petit déjeuner lugubre et servi un peu tard (8:30), pas de peignoir pour se rendre à la piscine, pas de bouteille d’eau dans les chambres (si dans le frigo et payante). Le prix est fort élevé en rapport à la qualité des équipements et prestations

Un soggiorno deludente trascurato e a tratti inquietante.

Posto potenzialmente affascinante ma gestito malissimo e ha bisogno di una bella ristrutturazione conservativa.

Una delle peggiori esperienze alberghiere avute finora, soprattutto considerando la categoria dichiarata e la cifra richiesta.

La pulizia della camera è stata inaccettabile: polvere, ragni e ragnatele ben visibili negli angoli e dietro i mobili. La cosa più assurda è che, dopo esserci accorti che la camera non era stata nemmeno rifatta, abbiamo dovuto chiedere espressamente che venisse sistemata. Il risultato? Quello che si vede nelle fotografie allegate: ragnatele e sporco ancora presenti. Inaccettabile in qualsiasi hotel, ancora di più in una struttura che si presenta come 4 stelle.

La colazione è scadente, povera e assolutamente non all’altezza della categoria e del prezzo pagato.

Anche il servizio è completamente incompatibile con un hotel di questo livello: reception praticamente assente già dal pomeriggio, nessuna vera assistenza e una sensazione generale di totale disorganizzazione. Ci è stato addirittura riferito che parte del personale era stato assunto proprio il giorno del nostro arrivo, cosa che purtroppo spiegava bene l’impressione di improvvisazione che abbiamo avuto durante tutto il soggiorno.

La zona piscina è un capitolo a parte: per raggiungerla bisogna percorrere circa 300 metri attraverso un’area boschiva trascurata, con la sensazione di attraversare una proprietà quasi abbandonata. Una volta arrivati, la piscina è altrettanto deludente: nessun membro dello staff, nessun asciugamano e nessun servizio.

Gli spazi comuni sono trascurati e la reception, più che quella di un hotel a 4 stelle, ricorda uno studiolo privato rimasto fermo nel tempo. L’intera struttura avrebbe bisogno di manutenzione, organizzazione e soprattutto di standard di pulizia completamente diversi. La puzza di muffa all’ingresso ce l’ho ancora nel naso.

Per la nostra esperienza, non esiste alcuna corrispondenza tra le quattro stelle dichiarate e il servizio effettivamente offerto.

Soggiorno in castello rilassante e accogliente

I punti di forza della struttura sono: camere ampie e ben arredate, piscina comoda, vegetazione ben tenuta e staff di livello altissimo che si è reso disponibile ad aiutarci e consigliarci durante tutto il soggiorno. Posto consigliato per stare fuori da ambienti caotici e in un'architettura tipica della Loira.
