Ottima posizione sul lago davanti a dove attaccano i traghetti

Our time was sadly limited at this property and the lake due to a scheduling conflict with a COVID test in Milan before our flight home. However the time we sis spend here was lovely, the bed was so comfortable, and the gentleman was so accommodating to our schedule around the hours of the hotel. We will visit again!

Roomwas tiny not small but tiny the bed took up all the room no place for our two suitcases and one was a carry on breakfast made a bestwester contental breakfast look great poor and slow

Idéalement situé, à 2 mn du port > traversée très facile vers la rive opposée et les îles Borromées. Laveno plus simple et agréable qu'en face. Téléphérique pour point de vue superbe sur le lac. Patron très avenant (parle français). Pas de clim mais un ventilateur. Rue bruyante mais supportable. Très bon séjour.

Its a great place. The owner is super nice. The rooms are clean. The shower is excellent. A very good continental breakfast. The only negative is it’s across from the train station and in the evening there is street noise. It’s just around the corner from the harbor which makes up for a lot

The hotel is ‘Moderno’ in name but, sadly, neither in age nor appearance. The decor is tired and dated but if you are travelling on a budget, do not complain about this hotel because you get what you pay for. And what you get is a perfectly acceptable, though small, room; a clean, comfortable bed; a decent breakfast and, most of all, excellent value for money with great service and exquisite Limoncello at a mere 1€ a shot – here is one hotel owner who is certainly not out to fleece tourists.
Only two minutes’ walk from the ferry terminal, it is ideally located as a base for sight-seeing around the lake.
Car parking is free and the WiFi works well.

Located near trains, ferries, buses. Good restaurants nearby. Great customer service. Manager met us, helped with baggage. Couldn't do enough to help. Good breakfast. Hotel quite dated. A bit noisy with windows open, stuffy with them closed.

Very accommodating owner...nice clean room, good breakfast

Although the place is dated and a bit basic the hotel is in a great position for the real italian lakes without lots of tourists. I stayed for 3 night which was enough time to go on the boat trips to the islands, see the stunning views from the cable car. All within walking distance. Great rail links. The room was clean with a balcony with a view towards the lake. Even though opposite train station it was peaceful as trains are electric. Over all great value for a cheap deal. Breakfast included. Owner really helpful nothing to much trouble. Will be going back for shot breaks again.
