Very quirky little hotel in a great location. A welcoming lobby and atmospheric bar, thoughtfully converted from the old wool store warehouse. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was yummy. A very enjoyable stay. Perfect if attending any shows at the ICC nearby.
Decor, ambience, emotion
The general feel of the place was lovely
*Shower wasn’t hot enough, we both felt this.
*The black out, pvc back curtain had melted together so didn’t pull closed which made the light shine through the sides of the blinds early morning
*There should have been more than one coffee and one black tea bag each
I enjoyed the mixture of old and new including the exposed bricks and beams. I enjoyed the professional friendly staff and the upgrade to a room with a bath.
View was unremarkable
I loved the feel of it, integration of original walls and beams gave a very cosy effect

A bit expensive but that is probably due to location.
Room was upgraded, cool room and furnishing, modern design, good lighting. Resturaunt Percy had yummy food and good cocktails.
Sehr schönes Hotel, etwas abseits von Darling Harbour. Was aber durch kurze Fußwege oder mit der Bahn kein Problem darstellt.

The unusual decor the glass lift
Shelf in the bathroom wasn’t clean and at entrance of hotel some unused chairs and tables stacked up in a mess visible for customers to see spoiling the look of the entrance
We stayed at Woolstore over the long weekend and I must say it was flawless from every aspect! The hotel is very cousy and viby. It has fantastic location in the middle of everything and yet hidden away at the heart of Pyrmont, making it ideal for Darling Harbour, Fish Markets, Pyrmont Pubs and Star City and Lyric Theatre. We visited all abovementioned locations in our three day staycation and had a great time! The service at the hotel and the restaurant was exceptional, from complementary cup of coffee at checkin, while waiting for our room, individual service at the bar in the evening, till the easy checkout. Spanish restaurant was great for lunch also with nice atmosphere and great food. Same can be stated about breakfast, there are not a lot of options but the food was very nicely presented and just the right amount to have energy throughout the day. Overall, it is not quite a Sofitel, but the experience was very good, only different! So if you are after a botique experience with almost the same location as the Sofitel, it is highly recommended!
The hotel was really lovely, very comfortable and the area is so quite. Didnt hear anything outside and other guests were also quiet. Shower was amazing as well.
The fan in the shower wasn't working but not a big deal.
The front dest staff was fantastic. Loved the location, easy to get to main attractions from the hotel and loved the quiet little spot it’s in.
Rooms super tiny, and dark, the cheapest option doesn’t even have windows. Luckily they upgraded me to a room with a window after I asked nicely.
