Would stay again for sure
Pros:

Close to light rail and Darling Harbour. I also loved the quirkiness of the old building and its history. Robes in the bathroom is always a nice touch

Cons:

Their was a whining noise every day during the mid- early hours which sounded like an air conditioning or plumbing problem which would wake you up, and was quite loud, this noise would start for a minute or two and fade then repeat itself. Very annoying.

The hotel was exactly what I was hoping for when I chose it.

A great place to stay whilst in Sydney.
Pros:

I really enjoy staying at the hotel and I stay whenever attending conferences at ICC. The hotel is "quirky" which provides a more enjoyable experience than a standard hotel room.

Cons:

I have stayed a few times and am very happy with the hotel. I would like a gym, but where normally it would impact my hotel decision, it doesn't for this one.

Not good. Avoid this hotel
Pros:

Nice location. Rooms are OK.
However, I can’t see how this is really a 5 star hotel, or why Accor are affiliated with it.

Rude staff, especially in the bar, where I was lectured about the cost of drinks, by a scruffy individual wearing an overcoat and a pair of Bose style headphones. Truly bizzare.
Initially, the bar staff simply said that they were closed, despite several people sitting in the bar drinking. This was at 2pm!

Reception staff disinterested when I arrived, and left me waiting with no acknowledgment while she fi ish Ed a chat in the phone.

We definitely will not stay here again.
